Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomDidn’t have the highest of expectations considering the price but the place was really nice and in a great location, nearest tube station is literally around the corner

United KingdomIt is an easy bus or tube ride into central London. The bedroom and kitchen were nice and clean. Nice, clean towels provided. There was enough crockery which was also clean (although I didn't cook). The price was comparatively good. It was good to have access to a seating area outside of the bedroom. The stairs and landing are newly and thickly carpeted so that reduces sound of people moving around. Quick response from staff when I realised I didn't know how to get in! Upstairs toilet and shower are tiny, but there is a bigger bathroom downstairs. Our room was right next to the small toilet and shower - a good thing when we wanted to use it, not so good when someone else is using it. The bedding was perfectly clean, but the quilt cover was too small, so the quilt stuck out a couple of feet at the bottom. I didn't like the idea of being in contact with something that isn't getting washed between guests. 2 pillows in one pillow case, so they also stuck out a bit at the end. And then just the normal hazards of a shared bathroom- not being sure whether the toilet floor is clean and one of the tea towels in the kitchen smelt a bit odd (but there was another clean one!). I don't think these things would have occurred to me when I was younger.

LithuaniaIt was a bit hot in the room, however, an extra mobile air conditioner was provided
I stayed for one night, and it was a convenient and comfortable choice. The location is excellent—just a few minutes' walk from Stepney Green Station, making it ideal for easy travel around London. The room was clean, compact, and equipped with basic amenities like a comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, a hair dryer fan, and a small but functional bathroom (with a tub!). Noise levels were minimal despite the central location, and self check-in was smooth. Overall, a great option for a short, budget-friendly stay with excellent transport links. Would recommend for solo travelers or couples passing through!

United KingdomOnly a couple of issues - the place was boiling hot everywhere. Nice that its not shy on the heating for guests, but the thermostatic valve on my radiator didn't do anything so it was stuck on full whack, and though there was a big air con unit in my room which I had to blast all night it was still much too warm for a comfortable sleep, and felt very wasteful using aircon in 4°c January weather. No bin in the bathroom for sanitary products which is an oversight for female guests.
Good location. I was in a basic single room but did the job and really good value for what I paid for. Shared bathroom clean and supplied with towel, shower gel and shampoo. I didn't have any issues queuing to use it as it hers mention in reviews. Check in instructions clear and no problems getting settled.

Location was great. The room and bathroom were clean. The bedroom was basic, and could have benefited from a lamp as the main light is pretty harsh. The bed was comfy, and the house was warm. For ease and price, this was good value for money. A few homely touches would have made my stay even more comfortable.

United KingdomI was staying in the small room near the kitchen area. It would be better if there would be door to the kitchen - i was able to hear all noise from the kitchen. Washing machine and the dryer were working after 10pm and some guests were talking very loud in the kitchen
Cheap price and very close to the centre by bus. The area was nice and nearby is a cheap spoons pub :-) for cheap breakfast. I would stay again 👌

United KingdomAlthough heating was working, the duvet was just a flimsy sheet so I was freezing all night as no spare blanket or duvet in the house. Next day after some protracted communication another duvet was provided. As the only reason to book the place was to get some sleep and I did not for 1 night I can't provide any better rating.
Ok location, clean room, easy to reach landlord with the codes working well - and quiet which was exactly why I have booked. Basic

United Kingdomno USB sockets in the sockets, needing was small, pillows were very very sub-par. if you're coming with spare baggage, bring a pillow. 8.30 am nextdoor started loading scaffolding from sister onto their truck, b not controllable of course, but lots of noise and disturbing
room was as advertised but I booked late (fifteen minutes before arrival) so had to chase for details on the provided number - which answered both times quickly). Room was clean, house was tidy and efficient heating was controlled in the room so nice and toasty.

IrelandThere's no bin in the room, no table either. Literally just a bed and a hanging rail to hand your clothes. The floor was very dirty and full of hair from the previous guest. Had to use toilet roll to wipe the floor so I could put my stuff on the floor since there's no table.
5 mins walk from the tube.

United StatesThough the room looked exactly like the pictures, I didn't realize it was on the ground floor in the direct line of sight of those walking outside. I had to keep my curtains closed for privacy during the day because of that. The code lock to my door wasn't the best-- had to do it several times for the door to open. It would have been great to have a side table and especially a lamp given the overhead florescent light was harsh at night. It got pretty noisy one night due to staff repairing a bed upstairs at midnight-- I texted the Whatsapp line and they apologized.
The proximity of the location to nearby grocery shops and the Stepney Green Underground Station was very convenient-- definitely the highlight. I liked being able to control the heat and a personal fridge in the room. I also appreciated the daily cleaning of the common areas (bathrooms, kitchen) and how quick staff were to respond via Whatsapp.

MaltaMy room was a good size but it's definitely not meant to have a double bed. It was so difficult to open my large and medium suitcases. Thank God I was alone as I wouldn't have coped if I had someone else to share with. To make things worse, it had a floor stand fan which took more space. An ideal solution to a fan should have been a wall fan, to save space. No bedside table beside the bed where one could place their mobile, watch, rings, alarm etc. This is basic for me. Why aren't these things concidered? It won't cost a fortune to put up a small shelf to serve as a bedside table! No wardrobe and only 2 clothes hangers on a small pipe serving as a hanging clothes fixture. Why should one have to go on tip toes to look at the mirror that is in the upstairs toilet! Some common sense would make a lot of difference. It is hanged high up. Why is there no wall hangers in the downstairs bathroom. Couldn't find a place to place my towel near the bath tub as no towel rail. My clothes had to be placed on the heater. The shelf in the downstairs bathroom is sloping forward and items could fall on the sink. The upstairs shower is very unpractical as no space to undress and dress up. I'm not making things up, but I pretend that whoever is running this place, should consider the basics. I don't mean to give a cruel review. All I'm saying, 'Please get things in order'. I took the courage to explain to you my opinion and I honestly wish you well, but for me these irregularities give me bad impressions. As said earlier, these things could easily be rectified and won't break the bank. I wish you all the best.
I liked the quiet area of the building. The fact that I had a window in my room and the house was clean. Linen very clean with a nice fragrance. I appreciated that the house had a good size kitchen, living area, and dining area, which all lead to a garden. My room was of a good size. It also had a small table and a chair, which I appreciated. It had also a good size mirror.
