There were no staff nearby. The shower in my room had no power so I had to use the shared bathroom. It would appear that there is no combi boiler, so there was no hot water, as the person who used it first, used all the hot water, so couldn't have a shower for two days until I returned home.

It was near the event and to the local village, which was very pleasant.

Advertised as a private bathroom, this was not the case. Shower cubicle and sink in room, literally and no toilet, had to use a shared toilet.

pubic hair all bathroom floor, kitchen stank of dirty bins, fridge full of old takeaway food and out of date half eaten items beds were very cheep and smelt dirty, very basic and disappointing.

No meet and greet. Advert misleading. Fridge was full. No pressure in shower. Bed was too small. Other guest arrived the second day I was there and complained about similar problems………….wish I had read the reviews first.

Kitchen and fridge always had rank stuff in them. Shower is pathetic. Have to hold it yourself, no bracket on the wall, pressure is dreadful, if you turn it upside down to do underarms the water dribbles out the top and straight down. Guests leaving a bath and sink full of laundry and detergent all over the floor. Regular guests seem to have no respect for others with doors slamming all night long. Had to leave early due to a family bereavement, let them know and wondered if could get a partial refund to help me out, told no as booking.com wouldnt allow it, and then found out they had let my room out to someone else for 8 nights that i had paid for, have complained to booking.com com about them getting paid twice and me not receiving anything, awaiting a response so will keep you informed.

I was kept waiting on the doorstep for 15 minutes while they verified my booking. There was no lock on my door and it kept blowing open.The toilet was down the hallway but sink to wash hands was tiny and in the room.

Lovely and quiet neighborhood, with easy access to the city center. The host was very welcoming and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

It's absolutely false advertising. To advertise a care facility as a hotel/bnb... The place was freezing when we arrived and I had to call to ask them to turn on the heating, after trying the "double" bed. A hospital sofabed, that was almost as hard as the floor. I rang them and let them know that we were going to leave and stay with my family instead. And despite that we still had to pay for the entire stay. They did offer to try and make the bed more comfortable when I did call to say we were leaving, but with quite a lot of attitude, even egging me on to straight up say I didn't like the place. Which makes sense because who wants to get in after a four and a half hour drive to a place that is freezing and the bed is hard as nails? At least be honest on the listing and say this is a care home facility our beds are hospital beds and not advertise as a wellness facility as that gives an unfair representation of what you get.

The house lodge is scary inside the bed it very bad i fell im in the hospital and all door is very every minutes i heard slam door i can hear walking he shower room is broken.I was not happy at all at my stay.

Shared spaces are cleaned every day. The rooms are really quiet. The staff were really friendly and helped a lot when I wanted to extend my stay. Overall would advise to stay there. Rooms are very spacious
