The big bed was awfully hard. Very poor sleep, and very uncomfortable. If the bed was comfortable I would have given 10 our of 10 for the stay experance. Get better beds.

Our room looked a bit dated. Needed updating...eg, mirror in bathroom looked well past it's best, window cracked, wood above window not painted and general decorating tired.

The view is stunning and the staff friendly and exceptional(especially the Northern Irish lady).

The dining area was part of the noisy bar with football on the TV in the background, so we felt we were in a pub bar not a hotel dining room. Sarson's vinegar bottle on the table gave the feeling of a cafe as did the decor. The bedroom was a good size although narrow, with a nice bathroom. One of the windows in the main room was cracked, causing a build up of condensation in the double glazed unit which really spoilt the view. Really disappointed as we have stayed a few years ago when the hotel felt much more exclusive/luxurious.

The room was lovely, but the bed was too hard, so we didn't sleep well at all.

Full breakfast was buffet style so cooked items were kept heated instead of freshly prepared. Would have been better to be able stay more than one night!

The location was easily accessible and view beautiful. The room large and comfortable. Good bathroom, shower and large fluffy towels. Staff very accommodating and allowed late reservation for dinner.

Upon arrival I was asked if I wanted to book dinner, I advised I’d done this in advance and staff member was unsure as to why our name was not on the list. When arriving for dinner, the young girl looked unsure of us being there and then proceeded to sit us at the farthest away table within the restaurant giving little to no atmosphere. We then had to wait 10 mins for a drink order to be taken, in this time 3-4 members of staff walked past us and didn’t acknowledge us at all.

Dinner was limited to 2 options which was not great. I understand this could have been a one off situation with being short staffed but maybe to be notified prior to arrival we could have sorted something else out for dinner but was too late.

Hotel is in the perfect location with beautiful views rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast was lovely.

Swimming pool was too cold to use due to a fault of some kind so that was a little disappointing not being able to use that facility
