Breakfast was ok but all three tables that were being used were on top of each other in a large restaurant. The hotel is very tired and in need of some love and attention.

The hotel was in a good location, on the seafront and close to the centre of town. It was the cheapest hotel in Oban. Staff were friendly.

The bedroom en-suite facilities need to really be more modern.

The hotel was of an older style - but good value for money. Maybe good to focus on the older style. Really good for us as we had a dog with us.

Breakfast at £10 was terrible. I only wanted tea and toast and was still charged the full amount. My friend had sausage bacon and egg that was swimming in oil. Not good at all. Advise others to go into Oban for breakfast.

Ery basic single room but could do with a refurb. Old fashioned but basic.

Very dated. Squeaky floorboards. Our room 8 Could be doing with re papering and painting. Paper coming away from ceiling. Doors in room needed washed or painted. Hand washing sink in room, so had to come out toilet before washing hands.

Only negative thing I can really pick up was the duvet, could do with a bit bigger wider than the size of the bed

One of the cheaper hotels in oban so there can be no complaints really , you get what you pay for, we had a great sea view in a large room, very quirky hotel and nice staff especially the young girl behind the bar

Long trek to my room but that's the luck of the draw.

Friendly helpful staff, I had read in reviews bad things about the staff but this was not my experience. Fiona in particular was helpful showing me on a map places I wanted to get to locally.

We had a lovely stay and had considered extending by a couple of days but on our last night there were new occupants in the room next door. Their dog/dogs barked at every noise especially early in the morning so we had a very disrupted sleep. Not the hotels fault but sadly as a result we decided to leave on schedule.

The location of the hotel is ideal with stunning views over Oban bay. Plenty car parking and clean rooms. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Staff were lovely.

The room was not what we expected from the booking pictures we were expecting a sea view and not looking out onto a brick wall opposite our room we felt there was to much furniture for the size of the room and the shower was cramped the hotel needs to be updated

The beds were a little uncomfortable and the rooms generally need renovating as they are a bit outdated. Things like the bath tub were yellowing which while clean doesn't feel nice to be in. Things like shower gell and shampoo were not provided which isn't an issue but when they are it makes the hotel feel nicer.

Room was quite dark. Wobbly shelf beside bed, holding a lamp. Traffic and clock tower noise and s damp smell in one corridor.

Location excellent as not able to walk far - and superb view over the bay from the foyer. Parking availability, friendly staff welcome (dog included!) Lots of hot water.

Rooms creak with any movement, nowhere safe available to leave bags for an hour, drink pipes needed cleaned meaning pint was super eggy with sulphur

The room was very small, have paid less for better accommodation. The room needs a complete overhaul as does the rest of the hotel. The en suite was very small and the shower door didn't shut properly.
