My room was a little hot for me but most people don’t find that in Scotland.

So comfortable & because isn’t not a big place it felt very personal. Excellent service & there is some serious cooking going on there. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We didn’t have dinner unfortunately but breakfast was delicious! The little touches were lovely… old fashioned shot drink, fresh shortbread and chocolates. Amazing place. Thank you so much

Everything. Location, friendliness, cleanliness and food. The attention to detail was incredible. I had the best sleep ever. Beach on the door step. Cocktails and shortbread waiting in the room and rocking chairs on the veranda . Every member of staff were happy to help and offer advice about the area. A real hidden gem.

I cannot think of a single thing!

This is a fabulous hotel - we loved everything - the friendly professional staff, the beautiful interiors of the hotel and our rooms, the location right next to the Royal Dornoch Golf club and the sea. Breakfast was amazing too! Faultless.

Surprised that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There were communal ones in the corridor but not quite the same. Also a bit disappointed that there was no view to speak of from the room.

Loved the location even though we weren’t there for the golf! Gorgeous beach nearby and the village has some excellent shops. The hotel itself was a real treat, the furnishings, decoration etc were top quality. The size of the hotel was smaller than I was expecting but we soon adjusted to it. The dinner was on the pricey side but delicious.

The rooms are split over separate buildings. in poor weather this could be an issue (umbrellas are provided)

ideally located for Royal Dornoch Golf Club. Our top floor apartment was huge with a Bedroom, Bathroom, lounge, Balcony & Kitchen diner. a short walk to the beach and town Center. Dornoch is a fabulous small town with lots of nice pubs & restaurants. In my opinion LH is the top quality establishment in the town. if you are looking for THE BEST this is it. The staff are all very efficient and friendly. The food in the Restaurant (we had breakfast & dinner) is very nice and the wine list exemplary.
