The stairs are steep and the curtains were difficult to close fully.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable and for us the location was good. The pub is very popular and the Nepalese food excellent but vety little noise and no cooking smells spoil our rest.

The single bedroom was a little bit tight - the duvet in the double room was very thin and there wasn’t any extra covering or extra pillows readily available in the room - when we arrived we were told that the height adjustment bar in the shower was broken - I think we would have had to put up with it but the man who does some maintenance there happened to be drinking in the bar and he went to have a look and told us that he would sort it the next morning which he did

Good sized double room and comfortable The bar and restaurant both looked very nice and those drinking there told us how good it was - we didn’t experience either as we were at family birthday celebrations all weekend

The mattress protector kept popping off causing flat sheet to ruck. Tv stand behind screen dusty and picture in room really sun bleached and past best. The 2nd and 3rd points had no bearing on my rating.

Friendly atmosphere and staff. Good parking options, good central location, bedding and towels all nice and fresh and clean as was bathroom and shower areas. Enjoyed the stay and would recommend.

Only down side is from bedroom one a large industrial kitchen extraction fan is on continuously from 6 pm till 10.30. Outside the bedroom window. When that goes off it is so peaceful.

Friendly and attentive staff. Good breakfast and fantastic evening meal in the Ghurka restaurant. Good pub, reasonable prices. Lots of parking. Good size room bedroom one.

there was nothing that i didn't like.

the location was on the outskirts of Trowbridge with easy access to the town but quiet at night. the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were all very friendly and very helpful. the restaurant was excellent and the food first rate. breakfast was served exactly as requested and the chef made sure that my wife's food allergy was catered for.

Our room wasn’t serviced whilst we stayed. Not too much of a problem as we were only staying a couple of nights. An earlier check in would have been good.

We enjoyed a very good breakfast on both days. The restaurant food was excellent. We liked the bar which was very friendly. Our room was at the front of the property and was very quiet.

Perfect! Breakfast would have been preferable had the chef been able to speak English! At my instigation, he was persuaded to say, “Bye bye.” The food was excellent nevertheless.
