Room was really good but decor was a little dated. It did not affect our experience.

Breakfast was excellent. Beautifully cooked and presented. We struggled to eat it all but would be pleased to have that any time we stay away.

The team couldn’t have been friendlier. So helpful and flexible. The room was very comfortable, the memory foam mattress is quite firm but still very comfortable even if you like a soft mattress. Quiet and pretty location. Good breakfast too.

The rooms could do with a little updating, the communal areas have obviously all been decorated and are extremely nice but the room I was in was lovely and clean but could do with updating.

We felt that the breakfast was a little disappointing; the 'main' course, eg. the full-English and the smoked salmon, were very good. However, the continental section lacked variety. Our friends noted that there were no pastries and no yoghurt any more.

Loftsome Bridge is beautifully and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There’s a lovely warm welcome and the service is genuine and wholesome. There’s a lovely food is wonderful and great value for money. This has become one of our favourite places to stay whilst visiting Yorkshire and would highly recommend

The location is a lonely spot in amongst agricultural fields definitely off the beaten track. The hotel is a very attractive brick building with comfort in every aspect. Absolutely outstanding restaurant offering cooking far above expectations.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Cottage rooms are my favourite as there is a sofa which is always a bonus when you are in hotels all week. Having somewhere to sit and watch tv rather than the bed is great. Fixed price menu is great value for money and delicious.

There was a large stain on the throw at the bottom of the bed and another large stain on the carpet near the foot of the bed.

All good. Caution to those ordering the omelette for breakfast -although bacon is not mentioned on the menu it was added to mine. If you are veggie make sure you check when ordering

Second stay here. Rooms are comfortable- stayed in the main house this time. First time had one of the cottages which I did prefer as there was a sofa to relax on. When travelling all week for work it is nice to have somewhere to sit rather than the bed. Food and staff are great. Love the warm welcome and great value fixed price menu.

The shower head was not great - little pressure and rather tired. The two single beds were completely different heights - odd! The hotel lacks atmosphere which is surprising for such an old building, no details of its history on show.

The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was very good. We ate in the restaurant one evening and it was excellent. Plenty of car parking space. Lovely view of open country from our room in the main hotel.

Loftsome Bridge was lovely and it’s recent refurbishment is excellent. It’s in a peaceful location and lived it’s an historic building. The staff were lovely and looked after us so well. The breakfast is really good and good choice available. We also had an evening meal, the quality was great and value for money was exceptional. Would highly recommended and we will certainly make a return visit
