Very well equipped with the exception of a bread knife or any sharp knife. Visitors need to bring sliced bread

Hi there My name is Cody, and my partner is Paul This is our second time staying here and yet again loved every moment off it. Staff are amazing when you sit outside the hut and look across the pond every morning and think how amazing, and on point they have put this together to relax and enjoy the nature away from a busy life style if I could give this place more than a 5 star rating I would thank you again ..sam ,David and Caroline hopefully we will see you again soon love from usel both x

Theres nothing we didnt like about this place. Its a beautiful, quaint, peaceful retreat. With friendly staff and all the facilities needed for a nice romantic getaway

Its a beautiful area, the scenary is stunning, the staff were really helpful and extremely friendly, the facilities were perfect, It was quiet and peaceful. The stars at night and the daytime view were both wonderful

It’s peaceful yet convenient location. The hut was beautiful and situated right next to the lake. Very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Tiniest thing but could have had a small shower gel in the shower as we forgot to bring some.

Location was great, the setting was gorgeous and it had everything we need. The hosts were also so helpful and friendly.

The staff were very welcoming, beautiful location, the cows were a great addition. It was so peaceful. Would 100% recommend.

Got very hot in the evening (we did go during a heatwave tho) they provided a fan but a small air-con unit would have been better. mattress wasn’t the comfiest and the bed frame may have been missing a slat, I have slept on much worse tho.

Location was great and it was calm and relaxing. Loved the little hut it had everything we needed and was really cute.

I have a bad back and would have loved somewhere more comfy to sit outside the hut to enjoy the sun. (Little table and chairs was provided - so just personal preference).

Absolutely beautiful location. So quiet and peaceful but only about 15 minutes drive into York. Owners were very pleasant and we felt like they'd go above and beyond to help/answer questions. Loved meeting Obi the dog and seeing the cows!

The property, was in a lovely area. The hut was perfect and clean. This was mine and my partners first holiday, we went for new year and has an amazing time.

Very cosy and quiet location. Peaceful and not to far away from York. We enjoyed going out for days out and coming back. The carry cart to our hut was a lovely touch too. The owners was lovely and very friendly. We can’t wait to book in the future again.

Very cosy and quiet, the park/lake is well maintained and amazing to wake up to in the morning with a nice view! Staff are very friendly and the location is perfect.
