Absolutely beautiful place , everything you need and more , most comfortable bed , you can go to the top of the road and Scarborough is to the left ,robin hoods bay , Whitby to the right , also found a fabulous little place called Boggle Hole , I highly recommend a visit , hut is very clean , couple of goats outside who were really friendly , the scratching hut next door has everything you need , from beer to fresh eggs , I booked this a while ago , in the mean time I had a mini stroke , we still decided to come and it’s been the absolute best helping with my recovery, I honestly cannot recommend this beautiful little place enough , we will most definitely be returning. Thank you ☺️

We had a lovely stay at Meadowbeck Shepherd Huts! Despite it being cold outside, the hut was very cosy with the wood fire. The sea view from the hut was lovely and there was even milk in the fridge when we arrived! We would definitely stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed going off grid this weekend at the Shepherds Hut. It was the perfect space to unwind in the countryside, surrounded by beautiful views, tranquility and gorgeous animals! The only thing i didnt like was the outside toilet i have a rubbish bladder and the toilet was a decent walk away so i tried to use the outside one and found it strange to use but thank god it was there

Loved the lack of Internet and technology the cosiness of the shepherd hut and that there was some on site facilities for fun (pool table, darts, tv and a few other bits) the views of the field and animals were refreshing from home views definitely would love to go again in future we enjoyed every second of the peace and quiet

Cooker was small and tricky to use- couldn’t work out how we could have rings and oven on at same time. Can only really cook basic things that don’t require much space as cooking, washing and prep area very tight. More storage shelves near bed would be helpful.

Secluded away in the quiet countryside, immersed in nature. Hosts really informative and friendly - greeted us on arrival, it had most things we needed and was clean and cosy. Lovely wood burner which we used both evenings

Wife not too enamoured of having to go out to go to the loo at night! My bad as I hadn't realised the toilet/ shower was around the back.!

Lovely quiet little hide away. Even during a wet and windy night the hut was cozy and warm. The woodburner was easy to light and kept the hut toasty.

The views from the hut are beautiful. A full meadow with a sea view on the horizon. I liked the simplicity of the huts it gave me time to turn off all my devices and rest! Loved the hammock and all the little touches they bring to the place. Thank you

Lisa and Graham run an incredible hideaway between Robin Hood's bay and Whitby - it was difficult to leave it every morning to explore the area! The view across the fields to the sea was idyllic. Lisa and Graham are rare people - open but respectful of your space and genuinely friendly and decent. They work so hard to make your stay perfect and it is the best shepherd's hut we have been to.

Having to leave. 2 nights wasn't long enough to do everything we wanted to do.

Location was beautiful. Host's were friendly and helpful. The little details were considered. Felt sad to leave. It felt like home. We wanted to stay longer. We liked being able to experience a little bit of rural heaven without being completely out of it. Great views, wood burner, BBQ, comfortable bed, fabulous facilities. I loved our experience here and expect we'll return.
