Right next to Gloucester Road Tube Station and only a 10-15 min walk to Royal Albert Hall Price- Extremely Reasonable- Very Good value for money

There was no full length mirror which was annoying. There was also no information in the rooms about what they offered in the restaurants/bars or for breakfast, and you couldn’t have breakfast to your room. Also no info as to what was around you.

Location was great, rooms were a good size. I would stay again.

Breakfast was chaotic. Fairly good selection of food available but it was crowded and people were wandering around carrying hot drinks etc - no table service available

Housekeeping was not consistent each day. Some days they replenished complimentary water bottles and other days we had to call housekeeping to request. Bathroom amenities were also almost non-existent save for few tubes of shower gel... no shampoo/conditioner/ shower caps/ lotions/ etc...

It's adjacent to Gloucester Road Station and thus very convenient .

Had to request a waste paper basket, a second soap for shower and box of tissues.These should have been provided already..one day room was not cleaned while I was away from 09:30 till my return at 2:00pm in spite of "clean room" sign..Would have liked CNN on TV

Told we had allowed 1 o'clock check out as we had to return to get change after Breakfast. then returned to have card not work bluntly told no by reception staff. eventually got a half hour etn. Also as a maintenance note room 259, has a sticking door that does not close after you. Room staff had replaced soap at our request and left door open whilst we were out.

It felt a little like we were being rushed out of the room for housekeeping - I completely understand they have a lot of work to do, but maybe an option would be to offer a choice of not having housekeeping when only staying a couple of nights, as we were. Overall, a great place to stay, particularly for the Albert Hall and nearby museums. I imagine we will return for our next trip to the area.

Friendly reception staff, great location, and plenty of restaurants and take-aways nearby. Room was an excellent size, and everything was spotlessly clean.

The hotel is a little nostalgic and could use a facelift outside, however for the price you are paying cannot complain.

For the price I paid it was definetly good value for money. I came with my 4 year old boy. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were all very courteous. Location is very good as just a stones through away from Gloucester Rd Tube station so easy to get around as well as having lots of local eateries around.

Bar closed at 11.0. Concert at the Albert Hall , loads of people back at the hotel after, and no bar.

Management was very attentive and went out of their way multiple times to personally assist us. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Price was economical. Location is very convenient. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great.

Fresh coat of paint and new carpeting in the rooms would be of benefit.

I had stayed here in the 1990s and remembered how convenient it was -- literally a few feet away from the Gloucester Road Underground station, plus a short walk to the V&A, Royal Albert Hall and even Harrods -- and also how safe and pleasant the neighborhood was. The hotel is pretty much as I remember it -- the room was a little bit downtrodden albeit comfortable, and I was happy to be able to use the hotel's gym -- and I would definitely stay here again in the future.
