Room was an upgrade to the Club area (thank you). But the room, although large, was very basic and tatty. The lack of toiletry accoutrements like soap in the shower was very disappointing. There were only two dispensers of the same shampoo.

We liked being in the Kensington area close to where people lived. The subway was very near and it was easy to get to Hyde Park, the Victoria and Albert Museum and other sites. It didn't seem as touristy as some places in London. The food in the bar was very good.

There were multiple chippings in the corners, and the marble covering on the toilet water tank was cracked. Additionally, some metal fixtures had visible patina and calcification. While these issues didn’t greatly affect the comfort of my stay, they were hard to overlook, especially considering the high standard of the lobby.
The hotel boasts a convenient location, and the staff at reception and concierge were exceptionally polite and helpful. The room was spacious with a large bathtub and a powerful shower. The soundproofing was impressive, ensuring a peaceful night’s rest, and the curtains effectively blocked out light for a good sleep.

the location is ideal, right by Gloucester Road Tube and all its facilities, and walking distance to South Ken, good bus service too. Room was good, although we had to change rooms as the air con didn't work and that turned into a bit of a problem. All ended well though.

The location was great, the hotel is really close to Gloucester Road underground station. The staff were friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out were done quickly. Breakfast was good with a good selection of choice and the staff were efficient at getting tables ready.
