Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilThese are not negative points, but just a thing or two to be mindful of when booking: it is a historical building, so expect a bit of noise from the wooden staircase or the pipes. Because of the garden, you might find a couple of spiders on your bedroom ceiling or windowpane, but nothing that will disrupt your experience.
The place is a historical building less than 5min from High Street, in a very calm and quiet street, and has a lovely garden. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive, and they have two adorable dogs. Delicious homemade breakfast with freshly ground coffee, a warm shower, fresh linen and towels, a very comfortable bed... Essentially, everything you need. The whole place has a very good vibe, I felt welcome, restored, and I'm certainly coming back next time I'm in Glastonbury.

United KingdomWe loved the room but at this time of year it deffo needs blackout curtains. We really loved the whole sitting down with the hosts vibe at breakfast and having food cooked in front of us but a few more breakfast ingredients would have absolutely made it.
We absolutely loved the location-so close to the centre of Glastonbury and with parking down the side street! Our stay would not have been so easy if parking was an issue.

United Kingdom+ Fantastc location within easy walking distance of Central Glastonbury + Beautiful home with stripped pine doors, wooden floorboards and full of individual hand crafted things. It reminded me of The Weasely's magic house in Harry Potter. + Wild garden with beautiful birdsong. + super comfortable bed. - I stayed in the single room. Mattress and bedding high quality and clean. + super tasty breakfast. Fresh blueberries, strawberries, grapes, musli, yoghurt, juice, fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, selection of herbal teas, freshly ground coffee, wholemeal bakery bread toast. Vegetarian sausages were available, not sure if meat sausages were as I didn't ask. + on street parking in quiet lane + fantastic value for money + free WiFi- ask for the code + warm room which had; toweling dressing gown, towel and face towel, kettle and teas, coffee, mini hot water bottle. + overlooked the garden, could open window to fresh air and birdsong + friendly relaxed couple, whose home it is, happily cook breakfast, then retreat to their living room and give guests space (some hosts can be really overly friendly and 'in your face', these folks are just lovely) + beautiful lovely well behaved dog. Normally dogs are a problem for me as I'm allergic to them (I'd forgotten about their dog, it does say on Web listing, but read so many different ones) - anyhow; because the bedroom was fresh and dog bed not in kitchen and wooden floors, I didn't have any allergy problems :0) + great to have shower and toilet upstairs. Decent power and temperature shower. Shared facility. - shower room is tiny with noisy door and noisy flush. They requested not to flush overnight to keep noise down, which it does state on listing. However it's an ingenious use of space and shower good. - Their beautiful 'Moon in Apple Tree' sign has fallen down, so go by address instead when finding it. Neighbours are friendly and will point you in the right direction.

United KingdomThe weather was very cold and there was no heat in the bedroom through the night, had to sleep in clothes to stay warm, with coats over duvet.
Lovely owner very charming. Breakfast cooked in the kitchen, served at large kitchen table and very cosy. We should have sent our breakfast food preferences with booking as no almond milk so needed to buy our own.
