Great friendly place with free complimentary house cocktail. Super comfy room. Didn't have breakfast as we were meant to be leaving early for city airport though didn't as flight was cancelled! Still, a nice overnight stay..

It was nice that there was a hairdryer in the room. However there was no wall socket near the mirror to plug the dryer into so that we could dry our hair in front of the mirror. Women need to see what they're doing to their hair. Would be nice to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom too- for doing make up etc close up 😊

The room was spacious, clean & had all amenities. The beds were very comfortable. It was quiet too with the windows closed and the aircon was quiet and could be adjusted to our desired temperature. We appreciated the complimentary snacks too. The ironing room was very useful with a decent iron. Lastly, I commend the hotel for having curtains that block out most of the light, as there's nothing worse than having light come in when you want a lie in in the morning!

rooms very small without wardrobe or desk. only glass shelf. not much space for two people. space for suitcase only for one. socket by the bed with European plugs.

Maybe one cupboard for our clothes would have been beneficial. The hotel is very close to excel and LCY but there is nothing much to do apart from it, so if you are not travelling through LCY or have an event at the Excel to attend, the location is not the best to visit London (although, it is very well served by the DLR).

The staff was very kind and helpful. They helped us a lot and made our stay super enjoyable. They went above and beyond what I would normally expect from a hotel staff. The room was cozy and clean, the lobby was very welcoming, modern and a great atmosphere overall.

I love the chain of moxy hotels, me and my friends opt for them every time! The unique decor is right up our street, the free drink on check in is a lovely little touch. The bar is great and offers a huge variety of drinks, the bed was so comfy and it was a really relaxing stay! Very easy to locate, overall very happy and I would return if I’m in london.

Beds were soft for my taste, but they often are in hotels. Maybe most people like soft beds and I'm a weirdo? I would like a chair with a back on it in the room. Sounds silly, but that's what meant we spent a long time in the lounge - sitting on the bed or the small stool in the room wasn't that comfy when working at a computer.

If you're going to the Excel or London City Airport it's the ideal location. Check-out is at midday which is great! Staff were lovely. The lounge is a great place to hang out, we spent a surprising amount of time there. Food was decent too.

The location was fantastic. Very handy for both London City Airport and the Excel and on train line. The room was really clean, a good size and had a good powerful shower. Quirky modern hotel. Staff were all lovely - friendly and very helpful.

Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay.

Really liked the laid back style and service. The team were casual and had a laugh with us when checking in. I hate checking in to a hotel when the team are suited and booted and I'm in scruffy travel clothes. I felt at ease and relaxed. The room was twin for myself and a friend. Beds were comfy and we got a good night's sleep. It wasn't a huge room, but we didn't need any bigger as we were out all day at a concert so was perfect for us. The bat was reasonably priced. Loved that when we got back late a little hungry and thirsty we could grab a couple of snacks and soft drinks to take to the roo..

The room was a little on the small side and something else I noticed with Moxy hotels is there wasn't just a regular rubbish bin in the room? I understand they have recycling bins which is a positive but there was nowhere to put my non-recyclable rubbish which just cluttered the room a bit.

When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with a friendly staff member who got us checked in quickly and efficiently. The hotel is located close to the airport and the views of watching the planes taking off was really cool. There is a DLR station about a 3 minute walk from the hotel which can connect you to the underground network in less than 5 minutes which was super handy and we utilised a lot for our trip. We were seeing an act at the O2 and getting to and from was fairly easy. The room itself was clean and the bed was super comfy! Although the hotel is close to the airport it is well sound proofed to there is no need to worry about the noise. You can connect your phone to the TV and also watch whatever you like from your device so you aren't limited to what is on the TV.
