Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI was in room 224 and the shower drain was awful. There was a pool of water that took forever to drain. I hated the shower but the rest of the facilities were brilliant!
I loved how clean and fresh smelling it was here! The staff were friendly and the facilities here are great!

RomaniaTV wasn't functioning, but in their defense we didn't signal it to the staff since we weren't physically in the hotel much of the day.
Space was nice, room was decent, air conditioning was working.

United KingdomI’m so sorry to write this review and give this rating but I don’t want anyone else in the position I was staying here. I got robbed just outside the hotel, where my phone and cards were all stolen. I thought it would be safe to stay here as it was so close to the train station and not far to walk. Apparently it is known that people are robbed and their phones are stolen a lot in the area. I felt so shaken, I couldn’t sleep at all that night as I was so scared after what happened and to be in an area that is known for theft. I had nothing, no phone, no cards, no money, nothing and there wasn’t anything the police could do even though I had my phone tracked. The staff were kind to me and offered me a drink, I just don’t want another person or a single woman like myself to go through that when you’re travelling alone. Please stay somewhere safe or if you stay here, maybe stay in a group you feel safe with.

United KingdomIt would've been nice if there was better support for customers. When I was checking in, five minutes went by while others working the front desk could have helped me out, they chose to ignore. Staff members rarely break into a smile. I had three different conversations with unexpectedly expressionless folks. A week ago, I stayed at another hotel and was shocked to find that the staff behaviour there was 10 times better than this one. The employees could use some guidance on how to interact with customers more cheerfully.
The hotel was excellent. Outstanding location and very millennial/Gen Z. Great vibes. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and the bathroom is pretty. And clean. You can connect your device and stream Netflix/Disney etc from your phones. The bed was really comfortable as well. I was staying at Moxy since my landlord was doing repair work, therefore, I needed a place to call it home for almost 5 days. It was perfect. If you drive, you can park at the back of the hotel for £15 a day.

United KingdomCost of the parking (although I guess standard for London). Hot food from breakfast buffet wasn’t hot. Smaller selection of breakfast between 09:30 and 10:00 as the hot food didn’t seem to be topped up.
Comfortable beds. Clean. Access to free pool and board games in the lobby.

New ZealandWhile the room was decently sized, the bathroom was very small. The water pressure in the shower was unreliable and several times to reduced to the point where it wasn't much more than dribble (but a dribble that sprayed if that makes sense). It was a little frustrating as a good shower is what you want after travelling! The location is great for the Excel centre etc but quite far from anything so prepare for a good 30min DLR and Elizabeth line journey to get anywhere more busy. It's not a deal breaker but something to keep in mind.
The room was a decent size for London with a large bed, it was clean and tidy and the noise from the nearby airport was minimal. There was a lightswitch that operated a backlight for the tv and lights behind the glass bedsides and room table which gave a good ambience. This was my first time in a Moxy hotel and it seems to be aimed at the younger crowd and the communal areas are more relaxed and geared towards a party sort of a vibe. I'd happily stay again.
