We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomStaff were fantastic. Lovely surroundings and a cosy room which had everything we needed. The riom had a fridge with bottles of water & milk. As well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, shower gel, and shampoo. Window had a view of the golf course, so it was nice to watch groups tee off. Food at the wedding was amazing, but I can't comment on the breakfast as we were too comfortable to move out of bed in the morning.

Delicious breakfast, gorgeous decor, great location and views. Wonderful, friendly staff, very helpful. Great that we could check in early and freshen up for the wedding we were going to locally.

The hotel was delightful, beautifully clean, and the welcome - from Millie on reception- was second to none. I really felt that she was delighted that we made it ( having had issues to delay us!). Jules restaurant was excellent. We had chosen the hotel because it is close by to the gastro pub we wanted to try, but we wished we had eaten at the restaurant on both nights as it was by far the better meal!

United KingdomYour web site sandwich menu states that they are available until 5pm, but when we asked for sandwiches at 4.15 pm we were told that the service finished at 4 pm. We had travelled directly to the hotel expecting to have a sandwich before moving on for our dinner at the event we were attending. Disappointing! .
