Lovely grounds, warm welcome from very friendly staff. I had booked 3 rooms…all were lovely and spacious, very well equipped. We were half board and the food was excellent!

unfortunately the water from the sink and shower was exceptionally hot and couldn’t be turned down. The extractor fan wasn’t working either which made the bathroom and then the bedroom very steamy.

Location was excellent for us attending a family wedding at Mitton Hall

Bathrooms were a little dated. Room was quite basic for the price paid.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and modern.

Breakfast was a little on the cold side, but still didn’t effect how good our stay was.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location to the wedding venue we were attending.

I struggled to get a parking space but that was more down to bad parking from other people, and its a reach to say is a negative.

Every member of staff I came across, whether talking to or simply walking past, was so friendly and made me feel welcome straight away. It was incredibly clean, and I had everything in the room I would possibly need, included some lovely biscuits.

The rooms were very comfortable, well maintained and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our evening meals in the restaurant on both nights. Good food well cooked and presented. The staff were very welcoming helpful, courteous and friendly.

Our room (3) wasn't soundproof but it didn't impact our stay too much as we were able to sleep regardless

Very welcoming. Excellent staff in all areas. Upgraded and very pleased with room, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Good food with complimentary glass of wine for husbands birthday.. It's often the little thins that draw you back. ,

We were a party of 3 and on the evening meal one person had a burger which the bun was all burnt which spoilt the taste of the meal .. he did complain and was asked how the burger was .. also at breakfast time we had poached eggs which were very hard and so left most of it ..

this hotel is well looked after and very clean. A really enjoyable stay from start to finish. This was our second stay but it will not be our last. A special mention must go to the staff who make you so welcome, always so efficient, always smiling and make the whole experience so special

The staff were very efficient and helpful. I asked for extra milk, and it was brought to my room within 5 minutes. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The breakfast was nice and the staff were efficient and pleasant too,

slight problem with the shower this was fixed straight away the bathroom looks dated that’s the only thing

Maggie our dog was welcomed as soon as she walked through the door. staff so lovely. breakfast was very good, best scrambled egg I’ve had in years (buttery)
