Spotlessly clean, large room, comfortable beds, pristine white linen, friendly helpful staff. lovely evening meal. Would stay there again.

I booked a 2 night stay, The TV 2as Not working, I was informed it would be resolved later that evening or the morning. ( I did say it wasn't a problem for the Friday night) but it was not resolved. Sadly no apology or a TV that worked ..

The bunk bed - I knew the room would have a bunk bed when I booked but really, it would have been a very comfortable single room, if it had an ordinary single bed in it. I missed being able to sit up in bed, the one chair in the room was uncomfortable and when I wasn’t asleep, I spent my time in the room sitting on the floor, reading a magazine.

You should be proud of how clean and well maintained the room was - excellent!

Owen was fantastic. Funny. Attentive. Made me smile. My room was so cute and the bathroom tiling was lovely. The single bed was comfortable and not too much noise from the hallway. The decor of the breakfast room and bar are really nice. Overall. A big thumbs up for me and loved staying onsite at the Royal Welsh. Awesome 😁👍

The location at the Royal Welsh Showground was not that easy to find. More signs at the showground might have helped.

Nothing fancy here, but you get the basics that should satisfy travelers who are passing through. The premises were clean and felt secure. The room supplied a comfortable single bed, shower, TV and wi-fi. Restaurants and pubs in the town of Builth Wells were easy to reach with a car. Always nice to find pet-friendly accommodation, and this one has ample space for dog walks.

The restaurant and bar was closed for refurb, which is an issue as we had no notice and the nearest is a 25 min walk away, and we arrived later in the day. The rooms were like offices, but they were clean.

Poorly signposted when entering Showground.

Excellent location for anyone visiting the Showground. Room was equipped with the basics and spotlessly clean. Very generous tea, coffee & milk provision in room. Useful information provided when checking in out of hours. Rang ahead and arranged for the hotel to receive a courier delivery on my behalf - very kindly left it in my room. Fast & attentive breakfast service, good portion size.

Location on the royal Welsh showground would be ideal if you were visiting an event at the showground, but makes finding it more difficult otherwise. Breakfast was not included in the booking price.

Could do with more signage in the show ground to locate the accommodation, you really do think you are in the wrong place. but the host is excellent with directions.

Single room was a good size, an NOT the usual squeezed in space. The food was excellent, both the evening meal and the breakfast. Good value and no single person supplement
