Bathroom needed to be decorated, decent shampoo and conditioner needed as room was not cheap. The room should have a little fridge and it needed to be painted. Also the hair dryer needs to be electrical tested as it hadnt been tested for a year.

Expensive for a pub. Pub closed half an hour before advertised time when we had just got back from a concert. Staff made it clear that it was our bad luck...

Very creaky floorboards! We felt sorry for anyone beneath us. The bed was just 4ft6" and far too small for us so we didn't sleep well at all. Another time we would book a better room. We were on the second floor and there's a very narrow, steep staircase. It didn't matter to us, just be aware it's an old building and there's no lift.

Absolutely wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. Great bar. We didn't eat here but the food looked good. Very nice room and very clean/tidy. The room facilities were great - tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, water, etc - some decent (and much more expensive) hotels have stopped doing these so it was really appreciated. There's no breakfast option but there are lots of places within a few yards. It's a lovely pub and we'd stay here again.

Room number 3 lock on door broke completely not the owners fault. but it was very loose dedefinitely needs attention

Nothing, was just what we needed. Room was a little warm as it was on the top floor but not a problem at all as there was a fan.

Ideal location near to Victoria Park. Lovely room and very comfy bed. Discount in pub too and tasty gluten free beer!

Ideally located for anyone attending a wedding or evening reception at Hackney Town Hall. Rooms were simple but comfortable for an overnight stay.

Only one single mains electric socket in the room so had to alternate phone charger, kettle, fan. It was very hot weather so a wider opening window would have been lovely, although a tower fan was provided to compensate. The hotel is about due for some redecoration in places but that didn't detract from the overall experience.

Great hotel in an excellent location easy to get to by train and tube.Checked in slightly ahead of time and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff. Room was comfortable and clean. The shower was excellent. Despite the bar being closed on check out I was happily served drinks while waiting to be met by family. Felt very welcome.Thank you. I will definitely come again.

I had a single room and the shower wasn’t the best. Rain shower so no options to move in/out of water and the doors didn’t close properly.

Convenient for work and the station, food is great and they offer room service 👍
