Whilst there was a good choice of very tasty set breakfast options, be aware that you have to pay extra for coffee, tea, a second egg and even an extra slice of toast! This seems quite bizarre and I have never come across this before. The owner/manager was far from gracious when I pointed this out and this rather took the edge off my final experience of the Outbuildings.

The accommodation was excellent, the staff were very helpful, friendly and professional as were other staff and dogs around the site . The occasion of our visit was to celebrate a significant birthday and met all our expectations. The Bridport area was a perfect setting for wandering about and exploring.

one word .. amazing! we had such a lovely stay in ‘the pen’ , great set out with amazing views. the staff were excellent from start to finish and they were very welcoming to. my partner & i booked for the ‘hay barn cinema’ in the evening what a lovely touch that was - netflix, sweet treats, hot chocolate and heated blankets etc - it was sooo snug!

The door in the restaurant below slammed and shook the room, lack of a dining table and chairs.

The room was exceptionally beautiful, very clean, and well appointed, with one exception no dining table and chairs, which as it was meant for 4 people and the coffee table was too high for a coffee table and too low for a dining

My wife and I had a lovely birthday celebration at the Outbuildings. The Coop room was lovely for us and our dog, and the outdoor bath was exceptionally relaxing after a day walking the beach. I also organised the Orchard experience with the hotel, which was great and the food was delicious. The hotel also catered to our food allergies which we were very grateful for. Overall a peaceful and restorative stay, we would love to return.

Honestly, the fact we had to leave.

We had a truly magical time. We were celebrating a wedding anniversary and 2 birthdays. The room was beautiful, very cosy and perfect for a winters day. It had been sympathetically decorated and you can tell that it has been designed with a lot of care and love. The whole team who work and manage the property were available whenever you needed them but were discreet and aware of the intimate environment that they offer. The supper club was wonderful and the breakfast baskets delivered to your room were perfect. We also chose to do the Private cinema experience which was incredible. Our black lab joined us and we all had a cosy night together. The location is lovely, as of course its in the heart of Dorset. To sum up, an intimate, relaxing, comfortable experience and I would buy the room if I could! The business deserve for you to stay if you are hoping to travel to Dorset and we hope they continue to provide such a wonderful experience

You definitely need a car to get around.

Beautiful setting and fabulous place - very friendly and luxurious. The staff are wonderful and couldn't do enough for me - I just wish I could have stayed longer!
