Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBreakfast in the hotel was nice but quite expensive. We added it at the last minute, so maybe we could've got a better deal if we'd booked in advance. We weren't sure of our plans, but if we stayed again, we would book a table at the Sky Bar—it might be good if hotel guests had preference here or if a suggestion to make a reservation happened at the point of booking as it turned out to be really busy.
It's a fun and quirky hotel with cool decor. The room was an excellent size for a standard room, and the bed was also big and very comfortable. The air conditioning was really good and responsive—often, hotel rooms can be too hot! The staff were all really friendly at the reception, restaurant, and bar. Despite not booking a table in the Sky Bar, one of the staff found us one, and we were able to stay there until the people who had reserved it arrived. The car park is convenient and reasonably priced for overnight in Glasgow and close to the motorway so easy to arrive and leave without having to drive through the city centre.

United KingdomThe staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was stunning and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in and everything was clean. Had breakfast in the morning which had a great choice of continental and Scottish! One thing for breakfast though was that you could order a fried egg and did not realise that until finished so it would have been nice to have been informed of that. Will return.

United KingdomLimited number of sockets - having to move kettle and coffee maker out of the cupboard onto the table, switching plugs for them and hairdryer. But not really a big deal!
Generally everything was good. Bed was comfortable. Great to have espresso coffee in the morning. Fabulous views of the Clyde.

United KingdomLight bulb in bedroom didn’t work, there was a leak in the ceiling of the shower which started after upstairs were showering, water escaped from the junction of the glass partition and the wall tiles soaking the bathroom floor. Bar service in the roof top bar was erratic. I’m all for trainees, but they should be supervised and instructed at all times until proficient.
Location, room design and roof top bar.

Had the best stay. Upgraded to a bigger room and that view!!! Wow! The floor to ceiling window wall made for the perfect view!! Shower! Wow the rainfall is amazing! The shower room was spotless and came with everything you could need for a wee stay. The onsite pizza delivery delish reasonably priced and so quick to get your order to you. The brekky was lovely, loads to choose from, both in Continental and full English. The scrambled egg was so fluffy and light! 🙃

United KingdomThe hotel is great value and extremely clean. The rooms could be described as a little bit clinical though and the staff could be a little more attentive. At times they seem more interested in chatting to each other than serving customer.
