Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The food selection and the price of our stay the food was very expensive and not lot to choose from the price of stay was high for one night and that’s not with breakfast we had to pay separate
The room was clean tidy staff where friendly the only down fall was the price of there menu and not the best selection for evening found it very expensive breakfast was good but most places I stay breakfast in with price

The swimming pool had stuff on the bottom of the pool and my feet kept getting hurt while in water as I had to hold my little one. And there was a small tile in the bottom of the swimming pool
I liked everything to be honest, and it wasn’t that expensive, great value for money

the bath had a screen which wouldn’t open as it was too near the sink - so had to get in the bath to turn on the taps or shower ! nobody replenished the tea etc on 2nd day so had to ask
the room was big and bright overlooking the gardens - bed was really comfortable with extra pillow. good location for shops and into hull . forgot my swimming costume otherwise would have loved the pool !

would be good to have a couple of draws. Shower wasn't great, tricky to get the correct temp.
Room was lovely, Staff all very pleasant. Bed was very comfy and bedding was good. Breakfast was very nice. Shower Gell was nice smelling.

for a very large room there were no drawers to put things in. if staying for longer than one night i like to unpack and put things away there was no where to put anyting.
the room was massive we had the suite and it was ideal. Nice and quiet. the pool was a hit with the grandaughter.

Food and beer price's!

Thoughtless neighbours who didn’t feel returning late (2.00am) to their room needed them to be quiet.You cannot underestimate how self centred some people can be.
Everything fine, a chain hotel but well looked after and ideal for a short break. Rooms provided all that you need (biscuits would have been nice and I’m sure they wouldn’t hit the profits too much but our waistlines appreciated their absence!). Swimming pool an added bonus

We chose this hotel because there was a pool - unfortunately it was closed for the duration of our stay, which was very disappointing. More in-room hot drinks options would improve the stay.

the carpets in the corridor looked to be in need of a deep clean

The hotel desperately needs a full upgrade. It's stuck in the early 90s with its brown leather sofas and chairs.
Great location and parking immediately outside the hotel. Lovely, warm and welcoming staff - this hotel has a lovely team.

Nothing really. The only minor criticism, is that the changing room in the swimming pool is a little dated. It could do with being redone. But other than that, it was great.

The room temperature was hard to control and far too hot for us. We didn’t sleep well at all. Jacuzzi wasn’t working properly. Dated room with stained ceiling.
