The only downside was the mattress was not great sorry.

The only small issue we had in room 3 was that the bathroom smelt. This was clearly the pipes from the sink/toilet this didn’t affect our stay just the smell was a little strong. Maybe have someone come out to check the pipes etc

The room and atmosphere was lovely. Didn't get to try the restaurant but from what I could see that looked nice, neat and tidy. One of the members of staff I interacted with was nice.

Parking feels a bit sketchy in a council car park (free) but wasn’t a problem. No soap holder in shower

Super cosy. Easy to follow instructions. Everything is thought of. Breakfast cereals. Pastry’s. Heaps of water supplied. Great tv. Lots of big hotels could learn with what this accommodation provides

Nothing about the property directly, the only small niggle is that you have to walk through the restaurant to get onto the Main Street without walking down to the car park and around. But saying that it’s a very minor inconvenience.

The whole stay was fab. Loved the fact that there was a separate entrance and you didn’t have to walk through the restaurant. Details of check in given in advance so it was easy. Clear instructions for parking also really useful. Loved the fact that despite not offering breakfast, they gave an offer of pastries and small boxes of cereal with fresh milk. Just a small touch but really lovely. The rooms was fantastic value, clean, cosy, full of little details such as the fan (our room was incredibly warm due to outside weather so the fan was a welcome touch). We actually had food in the downstairs restaurant and it was stunning! Really reasonable in price and quality was fantastic. Already planning to return to Congleton and will be looking here to stay. All staff we came into could tact with were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us.

The only negative was that the kitchen extractors came out just by the room windows, which had been left open before we arrived, so the room smelled of barbecue. Quite a nice smell, but not that romantic!

Really nice place to stay for a night, staff super friendly. We had drinks in the evening and the staff were brilliant. Room spacious and very clean, well appointed and spot on location wise, right in the middle of town near to pubs and restaurants.
