We had the suite 17. It was very spacious and extremely comfortable. The tv at the end of bath was a bonus! Breakfast here was brilliant and all in a beautiful setting. So impressed with the gardens they were immaculate. Highly recommend this hotel !

United KingdomThe staff where friendly, and not just polite (there is a difference). the bed was comfortable, and the room could be got to the right temperature for a comfortable sleep (a surprisingly rare thing) with a window that actually properly opened, and ample well located power outlets (important for me). I liked the décor inside hotel too, quirky but tasteful well, by my standards. All the food was excellent. I don't think I've eaten a nicer pie!

United KingdomWe were in suite 15 and the sound of the extractor fan from the kitchen was loud which was worrying. But when we got back Saturday evening it had been switched off so didn’t actually affect our sleep .
Peaceful area with nice views from the Jacobean pub. We had suite 15 which had its own parking space right outside. Large room was nicely decorated and the tv at the end of the bath was a nice touch !

United KingdomDispensers in shower need filling although we did get more shower gel from the reception. The bath was full of short hairs all around the edge from the previous guest so this could do with cleaning again and checking. Could do with a bar of soap for the sink as there’s nothing to wash your hands with. Plug points are sparse - could do with an extension lead/plug board.
Staff were all lovely & attentive. Food is always piping hot, which is great compared to some places we have stayed. Suites are beautiful. Lots of space, comfortable & great value fur money.
