Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomGreat location in the heart of the City Centre minutes away from the L1 shopping centre. The room itself was exceptionally spacious, boasting comfortable chairs for guests to sit on, as well as a lovely work desk to put your things. The room was also equipped with glassware which was a nice touch. A fullysized bathroom complete with a walk-in shower. Staff were friendly and helpful, also providing the option of a later checkout for a more leisurely stay. 5 stars!

United KingdomPrices were slightly higher than normal as the Merseyside Derby was on whilst I was there and Aintree Horse Racing Festival was just starting as I returned home on the Thursday.
Hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to Liverpool Central Station and just under 10 minutes to Liverpool Lime Street. I did not eat in the hotel but there are lots of bars and restaurants in the nearby Concert Street, Bold Street, and Ranelagh Street. The Cavern Club is just under a 10 minute walk and the shops in the city centre are about 5 minutes away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and spacious with a very comfy double bed. Very nice. modern bathroom with bath and shower. Felt very safe walking along back streets to hotel from City Centre. There is a convenience store about 30 yards from the hotel which has a cash machine and is open 24 hours. There is also a TESCO Express at the end of the street.

United KingdomThe rooms weren't too well insulated from the corridors, so you could hear people talking outside and also doors slamming when people returned to their rooms.
Great location, staff helpful, good-sized room and clean. Comfortable bed.

United KingdomI wouldn't say I didn't like but feel some people may not be aware. It's very loud outside the hotel, although it didn't stop me from sleeping.

United KingdomLovely hotel, which was walking distance to Lime Street station. It was quiet when we were there Monday, Tuesday nights. Room was spotlessly clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Not very much choice for the continental breakfast, but the cooked breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Liverpool.

United KingdomAsked for a quiet room and we were right on the front of the building which gets very noisy being on concert square. Definitely wasn’t the end of the world though we still enjoyed our stay!
Staff were friendly and helpful, location right in town, not too far from car parking, good breakfast!

United KingdomThe property was great but we had a room that looked out on the main street and we did not know that we would be right across the road from a very loud nightclub going on until 4am and the roadsweepers out at 6am. Although the glazing reduced the noise somewhat, it was still extremely loud and disturbed our sleep for the 4 nights we were there. This was the only issue we had, and we did enjoy our time in the most part.
