Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

IsraelThe Ruby Zoe hotel was an excellent choice for our stay in London. It was just a minute away from Portobello Road, with a tube station only three minutes from the hotel, surrounded by plenty of restaurants. The room was charming, bright, and well-cleaned. The staff were incredibly helpful. Next time, we would definitely choose to stay with the Ruby chain again.

United KingdomThird/fourth time staying, booked about a month in advance, without a word given disabled room. Inconvenient for a reasonably tall person. Staff helpfully changed this. But odd. Soap dispensers stop working. Experienced this four times now!! Does not distract from what is overall good experience.
Location excellent, close to Notting Hill underground. Facilities good in room although no tea making facility and no drinking water bottle. Clean, comfortable, good shower. Soaps, conditioner etc all terrific. Breakfast high quality unlimited barrista coffee BUT no cooked options so do not expect a sausage or scrambled egg. Staff very friendly and helpful. Drinks and pizza available in bar late at night.

Beautiful hotel. Great choice of healthy food for breakfast. I particularly liked the overnight oats porridge. Went to the Archer Street pub next door in the evening a d had a wonderful night dancing and enjoying the party atmosphere.

Great location - 5 min walk from the metro. Fun design! Very clean and comfortable. Loved live music they had one of the nights we were there! And generally the lobby area was perfect for quick drinks and relaxing.
