There was no staff in the hotel for breakfast or reception at 7.30 in the morning a staff member appeared at 8.40 one of the guests I spoke to said she was drinking with the staff late into the night and they slept in I couldn’t wait for breakfast as I had an onward journey

There were a few downsides. One was the lack of hotel parking. However, there was parking across the road behind the Co-op, and some on-street and free parking in the town centre. The second was our room above the pub entrance. There was a bit of noise coming from the pub door and street, especially at closing time. BUT I have stayed in Aberfeldy town centre in other hotels and it can be a noisy street on Friday and Saturday nights, anyway. Don't let either of these things put you off. The high standard of the room and the excellent breakfast made it more than worth it!

The breakfast was the best breakfast I've had in the UK in hotels of this standard. I can recommend ordering the porridge with honey and cream to start. The range of breakfasts cooked fresh to order was excellent, all the way from full Scottish and vegetarian to eggs benedict, royal or Florentine. I wasn't expecting such a high standard of food! Kudos to the chef. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the wait staff during breakfast. The room was spacious, modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a large well-heated bathroom and good shower. Large, comfortable bed. I don't usually write reviews, but had to write this one. I'd definitely stay again,

Good size room/bathroom which were very clean. Staff were very helpful and food was great. A busy bar with a very friendly clientele and a great atmosphere. I would happily stay here again!

Not the best first impression. The reception area is very tired and unwelcoming. Also no car park. That apart this hotel is excellent choice for overnight stay.

The rooms were nice and clean and I loved the fact you could control the temperature of the heating and also open windows. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Nice choice for breakfast and the main menu during the day was varied and the food was delicious.

Luke warm shower in room 11. Told staff and they said it would be looked at. Still Luke warm that afternoon and the next morning.

Shower/ hot water poor. Was concerned about where we had to park the car overnight but all was fine. Some late noise from other guests but unfortunately that's normal these days.

It is a fine hotel with a busy bar and great food (Lamb Special!). Parking is across the road and free. Located in the middle of Aberfeldy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and made me feel welcome.
