We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was a fine dust on everything, dried out food on the floor, someone’s rubbish in the bin, long hairs on the wardrobe door and… a pair of men’s shorts on the floor as if he’d just stepped out of them, kicked under the bed but clearly visible. Made me wonder how clean the sheets were????? The plug in the en suite sink didn’t work so I couldn’t drain water away. I messaged the owner but got no response. If I hadn’t been in meetings and on zoom so much I’d have found an alternative. .

United KingdomOnce inside the room, after unpacking, we noticed some plastic bottle caps, hairs, and broken plastic pieces on the floor as if it hadn't been cleaned very well. When I went to clean my teeth, I discovered that the plug on the sink was stuck in the closed position and would not drain! I made tea before bed and found that one of the cups in the room had horrible cracks in the base and in my opinion should never have been put in the room at all as that is very unhygienic and unsightly. When showering, we discovered that the drain/plughole was blocked, and the water built up and overflowed onto the floor. We had to resort to turning it on and off, not running the water unless rinsing, which wasn't exactly what I would expect for the price we paid. The bathroom looked good but didn't function well and was very disappointing.
The building was nice, and I had a good first impression. The room looked very pleasant with modern furniture, a comfortable mattress, and a nice bathroom suite.

Last occupant's hand towel and bath mat still on radiator. Impressive carpet of pubes, particularly in shower and toilet rim. Bed slats so wonky the mattress kept. falling through. We would have left it as we found it, as per instructions, but I don't have a bulk supply of public hair

United KingdomWe were on the ground floor and could hear every movement of the person in the room above us. It rained all night and the sound of cascading water was really loud so we'd suggest the guttering is checked and cleaned if needed. The back door to the property seemed to be wide open each time we left our room.
The amenities were everything we needed. Getting in and out was no problem, and location is great.

United KingdomThe duvet case was a little tired and bobbly which made it itchy, and the duvet itself was on the thin side. I could have done with a blanket on the second night of my stay but couldn’t find one in the room. When checking that I’d not left anything before checking out, I found a couple of bits of rubbish left by a previous guest under the bed.
Whilst being reasonably priced, the property was in the city centre and easily reached from the railway station on foot. Although I didn’t need to, there was a kitchen and sitting area available for guests to use. Wifi, tea-making facilities and a television in my en-suite room made for a comfortable stay.

United KingdomThe staff was very rude on the phone it was not worth the money the kitchen had dirty plates in the sink the bin was over flowing and I didn’t feel secure one bit
Nothing it was the worst property I have been so unclean very unhygienic the sink was blocked the toilet didn’t work I wouldn’t recommend this to any one as u will be disappointed it has insects all over the room so I wouldn’t visit this property again an I don’t think anyone else would
