Can't fault anything.

We loved the setting in which the shepherds hut is situated. It's in its own enclosed area and was great for allowing the dog to go and explore knowing he was safe. It's got everything you need for a trip away. Very cosy and beautiful location. There is also a riverside walk a stones throw away. Easy to get a takeaway delivery. The beach at newbiggen by the sea is a very close drive for a nice day out.

There was literally nothing I could think could make it more perfect other than it was a little hard to find however all the best places are tucked away!

Anne was a great host 👏 👌, Absolutely loved the homemade scones, To think this was only 15mins away. Had everything we needed hot tub was a lovely touch well worth it we also had great weather aswell. Thanks Anne.

The shepherds hut was lovely, everything you needed was supplied. Hot tub was perfect temperature when we arrived and topped up later on in the evening. The garden is beautiful on the night time with lots of lights and privacy! Breakfast was delicious. Thank you

The hut itself was brilliant. It has everything you could possibly need. The garden is beautiful and the views were stunning. Food was homemade by the host and was delicious. I could live here!

My friend Mark loved the hut! Facilities were excellent and he loved how peaceful it was there. Bed very comfy and fantastic shower. Very clean and well equipped. He hopes to stay there again.

Anne the hostess was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble and her communication prior to arrival and also during stay was spot on.Anne had anticipated just about every need and had put things in place in advance. The Hut was comfortable and also quaint. Clean tidy with everything needed for our comfort.and the fresh home cooked breakfast was outstanding.I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Anne

The bed was ok, was abit tight but managed. Was very cosy. Was very windy and with a tree close was abit loud banging in the roof but did mention to Anne and was offered a refund if wanted to stay elsewhere but decided to stay. Used the hot tub, in the rain. If had cover over it would have made it even better as didn't stay out in it very long.

What a great little find, our host Anne was great. Communication was fantastic and replied really quick and helped alot. Was easy to find. Had everything we needed for a few nights away. Thought would be cold but with electric heaters was very warm. Got food delivered which was easy. Used the hot tub which in the rain was an experience. Would recommend and would stay again.

Visited for 1 night, fantastic stay from start to finish. Warm and friendly host who was very helpful and generous. Beautiful setting and wonderful experience staying in the hut. The hot tub was a very nice addition and breakfast was exceptional. We are definitely looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Unfortunately we didn’t find the bed very comfy and didn’t sleep overly well but that might have just been us and parking is down a slightly narrow drive with little room to turn around but we managed it in the end. Despite these we would definitely stay again though.

Really nice location, good facilities. We paid extra for the hot tub and cooked breakfast with was lovely and Anne was very accommodating with vegetarian options as well.

The only suggestions we could make would be for the bushes to be trimmed so that we could have better enjoyed the view and perhaps a little grounds maintenance as it is such a lovely outdoor space leading to the shepherds hut but it did seem a little neglected.

The scones with jam and butter and the milk, coffee and tea were truly a welcome treat upon arrival. The hut had everything you could have hoped for and was very clean.

The only problem I can find is ..upon booking I thought the hot tub was in with the price but once we booked we received an email stating it was 40 pounds extra. Also bushes need cutting as they blocked the view.

This little place had everything you need no need to take anything! Apart from your toothbrush. It even had milk cereal etc for breakfast or you can order a cooked breakfast and evening meal . It was so comfortable and private too the bed is very comfortable and everything is so clean and fresh. Anne even made my partner a lovely cake and put up bday banners which was a lovely extra touch. Thank you Anne :)

The only negative I would have would be the bed, maybe could do with a new mattress but this may just be our personal preference. This wouldnt put us of from staying again.

Absolutely gorgeous place. We stopped on our way up to meet friends in Berwick. Anne made everything so welcoming and we especially loved the homemade scones waiting for us on our arrival. The ability to order an evening meal cooked by the host was amazing and tasted gorgeous, highly recommend it to anyone that has the pleasure of staying at the Shepherds Hut. A special thank you from our fur baby Charlie, he loved his stay.
