Maybe a closer loo for the middle of the night dash but that’s camping for you!

Lovely place. Dinky the caravan was comfy and had everything we needed. The location was perfect with the added bonus of a couple of horses, chicken and a sheep close by. Keri and Bill were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble (including trying to make my sunburn better!). Wednesday night fish and chips at Gweek was well worth it - thank you for the suggestion and for the cream tea when we arrived.

Loved dinky! Amazing location, incredible host and the view is breathtaking. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you Keri for such a lovely time, it felt like we were in a music video/rom com.

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like about Silverspring. The low entrance to Dinky the caravan was my only complaint, which I managed to hit my head on several times, despite being reminded. Nothing could be done about that though. A few more bin bags would have been useful in the caravan and a bin in the pool shower and toilet which is where we had to use while staying in the caravan, for women’s items particularly. I also wondered whether it would be possible to have a portable toilet closer to the caravan for those 3am call of nature trips. However these were minor details of a lovely holiday

Dinky the caravan is on a small farm in a beautiful, quiet location, off the beaten track. The owners Keri and Bill were so helpful and are there if you need them. Listening to the dawn chorus and the evening chorus was a highlight for me. The swimming pool was another big hit, especially for my daughter. Only a few other guest accommodations at the farm, which made it lovely and quiet. We loved all the animals, Woolley the sheep, Cookie the dog, Percy and Tinkerbell the ponies and Teddy the giant tortoise. Plus all the chickens. Getting to Gweek was a 5 minute drive - they (Sid) do delicious fish and chips from a van on Wednesdays. Definitely a highlight eating on the green in Gweek. It was easy to get to several tourist attractions locally and easy to get to the Lizard and St Michaels Mount in Marazion. The country lanes are not for the faint hearted! I am used to country lanes and loved all the wildflowers and hawthorn out in full bloom lining the lanes.

Abit of a walk to the toilet. The weather was terrible during our stay!

The caravan was beautiful inside and outside. Really comfortable. Very dinky as his name suggests! Lovely big tea pot, very homely. Fantastic welcome. Nothing too much trouble for Keri. Would have been paradise found if the sun had been shining. The grounds are amazing..Big green fields and paddock. Freedom to roam. Lovely Summer house to use to relax in aswell.Lots of visitors return here which shows how welcoming and friendly they are.
