Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom were a bit small.
Very comfy beds, nice thick curtains to provide privacy. Brilliant location and nice staff.

The room could have been a tiny bit bigger so we can move inside and the breakfast was very poor for the amount we paid.
We stayed in a private room with a private bathroom. The room was very clean, the staff helpful and the location wonderful.

The bottom bunks are essentially on the ground. You have people coming in at all hours.
Rooms clean and functional. The staff were really friendly and helpful

The hot water didn’t work very well in our bathroom, it was never very ‘hot’ so had lukewarm showers.
Good location in Camden, on a quieter street a little bit out of the hustle and bustle. Stayed in the private room which was very clean - compact in size but fine for a few days. The property had a good kitchen and a nice outdoor seating area.

My only negative comment is that I woke up very hot and sweaty the first night, because there was no air conditioning or airflow and it was 30 degrees Celsius that day.
Nearly everything was great, especially the privacy curtains in the beds. The beds were more comfortable than l expected for a hostel.

Somewhat high price, but that might also be an unavoidable London issue. Triple bunk beds are a bit cumbersome, but if you're small like me you'll make do.
Rather clean and well kept. Very friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance of St. Pancras International, therefore great if you have to catch a Eurostar rather early in the morning.

I stayed for the weekend and felt they could clean the apartment bathroom daily, due to the number of people in the room, it's supposed to be mandatory

easily get noise from upstairs. I couldn't sleep well so you might need earpods from reception. you have bathroom but whenever after someone used the shower, whole room will be wet so your feet will be wet.
good location. close to metro, bus and street for shopping and bars! room and kitchen were clean. for sharing -no hair drier -laundry for 7 £ -baggage storage 3£ -late check out 13:00 2£ (ask staff)

Quite pricey over the weekend - but I knew that before booking. Making your own bed when checking in late after a long train journey is a pain.

The beds weren’t the most comfortable and the sheets / bedding weren’t great either. Checkout was quite early (10am). The rooms could have been cleaner. A lot of the USB charging points next to the beds were broken so you had to charge at the wall in the middle of the room which didn’t feel the most secure.
This was okay for a few nights stay in London. The location was good with closest tube stops being Mornington Crescent and Camden Town. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Appreciated the curtains on the bed.

Dairy free alternatives (soy milk, canola spread) would have been appreciated for the paid breakfast. The lockers in the room don't work with smaller wire combination locks and only solid padlocks work, which not many people travel with.
It was very clean, great location right in the middle of Camden, and the staff were wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!

The sink was just big enough to wash hands. It was impossible to wash ones face without spilling water on the floor.
All the staff was very friendly, the private rooms were very quiet and clean. Good variety of food for breakfast.
