The thin foam mattresses were insufficient. I felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Luggage storage is quite costly

When I arrived I was very disappointed, as the room was tiny and awfully dirty, with guest's stuff and clothes everywhere, dirty floor. Bathroom was flooded and the toilet stinky and unflushed. There were 2 bunk beds, for 3 ppl each and there was so little space I couldn't sit on a bed (and I'm only 160cm tall...). Everything is dusty, with old hair stick to the mattress, the blankets were definitely not fresh. Loud at night, young guests were screaming and laughing in the corridor and I could hear everything. Very uncomfortable:(

Well located, there are shops and bars nearby, next to the park. There were two super friendly and helpful guys at the reception desk.

Not much. The bunk beds need to be fixed a little bit , but if you don't have much expectations -its perfect. No view at all- a basement. Do not mistake the diffference between a hotel and a hostel:)

We took two rooms for two families (private). Both with ensuite bathroom. One was in the basement the other one on the ground floor. I stayed in the basement with my wife and two kids (8 and 13). Breakfasts included in the price. Buffet- good enough (toast, boiled eggs,butter, jam, cheese, nutella, coffee, tea, orange and apple juice). Perfect spot for travellers. We stayed for 4 full days and used the tube 3 times. From and to Liverpool station and to tower hill( we came back on foot). Pub 7 metres from the entrance:):):). Restaurants in about 10 minutr distance. Room cleaned every day. Staff more than friendly.

extremely noisy Italian school group running riot in corridors and their rooms and setting alarm off in middle of night. No staff came to tell them to shut up. Had the worst night sleep in a long time

The beds were not very comfortable. The dormitory (6 people) was very narrow. Shower and toilet not very clean, probably soiled by other people sleeping in the dorm.

The room was cold and heating wasn’t working at alll, tap water was running too slow. When I came in the room window was open and temperature outside was: -3

I came to the hostel at 9am. My check in was from 2pm. I arrived earlier for my stay than expected due to the strikes had to travel earlier. I was more than happy to wait in bar area. Did not expect to be checked in that early Tiffany (staff member) quite arrogant. Mo was great. I asked if I could wait around in bar area until it was time to check in… Tiffany said hmmm so I asked should i be standing until 2pm then ? That’s when she allowed me to sit down. Paid for breakfast at 0930. Breakfast area was cramped with everyone. Long queues. Cutlery fell onto the fall and I saw the domestic staff giving it quick wash only. The same staff that were cleaning the water spillage in bar / reception area were the ones serving breakfast. There was no hot water on arrival due to the big splash that came from the ceiling. Check in for 2pm… room still not ready. I was checked in and then went to room and housekeepers had only just started to clean it Manager at this place has no people skills. Not once did she apologise for any inconveniences caused

I was transferred to the Russel square location which exceeded my expections. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Storage was safe.

the last night when I come back from my day at midnight, when I went to the room all my staff that was on the bed, including valuable items, were on the floor mix with the blankets. I went to reception and the man there said that was my fault cause I was in the wrong bed (after 8 nights), that my bed was another one (in which several different people sleep during my stay) and I have to sleep in other bed. not even said sorry for throw your staff or at least said that could be a mistake of your part and not directly mine. the rest of the people in the reception were great but the night man who receive me was very rude.

the location, really close to all the public transport, and close to Paddington station. the option of the breakfast it’s short but very useful

Well where to start the two staff were quite rude, disrespectful and all together was a very strange experience plus they almost refused our room because we had one extra even tho we paid £263 for one night in a "supreme double bedroom" which looked nice in the photos but fell way short. the bed and pillows are crap quality worse night in along while and the bathroom is like those cheap nasty caravan plastic style units with a shower that barely functions. dodgy almost home made elevator that knocks into shaft walls when in use Plus cleaners just walking into rooms without knocking even with a do not disturb sign. Avoid this place unless you are really stuck

Location to Hyde Park is the best thing about this place

The hostel itself was not worth the price paid, rooms were outdated, small and humid.

The location of the hostel was great, next to two metro stops, the location was not too far from the centre, quite and save. Privacy of the beds with curtains was definitely a plus point!

The bathroom was a bit strange - not very conveniently constructed (you have to step into the shower to access/get to the toilet and sink), but acceptable for a short stay. The cleanliness could have also been a bit better. The breakfast in the hostel was a bit basic.

I stayed in a private room with a friend for 3 nights. The main advantage of this hostel is the location, which is very good - max. 10 minutes walking to the underground station Queensway from where you have many useful tube lines. It's also just a minute away from Hyde park which is a wonderful park. The room was ok, Wi-Fi worked well.
