Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hostel has good location near the metro Circle line, northern the Hyde park. Next to hostel is good looking Pub and small shop Accros the street that has long working hours. The dormitory is small but clean and tidy. Breakfast was basic but perfect for our group ( toast, boiled egg, ham, cheese slices, jam, three tipes of cereals, different types of coffe from the coffe machine, juice). All in all perfect and for recomendation.

Corridor on 3rd floor very dark. Door closures make some doors a bit noisy. If you was staying longer than a couple of nights, there’s not much room for you clothes if you like to unpack.
Although the room was small (size as description), it was very clean and comfortable. Clean good shower, bed clean and comfy, good quality TV, fan if needed, loads of plug sockets & usb, clean towels each day, kettle facilities. Reception staff pleasant & loads of info available. Breakfast (£6.50) basic but adequate. Close to Hyde Park and pub next door very nice. (Didn’t hear much noise from it). Close to tube. Good value for the money.

The mattress is extremely soft/worn out - I got a sore back from it but I guess that's a matter of preference. There is no hair dryer although the room description says so. But that's ok because the shower's water pressure is so bad that washing your hair is impossible anyway.

We booked a double private room. It was clean, comfortable and quiet! For me, as someone who regularly stays in hostels and is more used to sharing a room dorm-style, it was a nice change of pace. Conveniently located closed to Queen's Parkway tube station (where we were able to start most of our days' travel as well as find breakfast and exchange currency). The staff were available 24-hour at the front desk and very helpful!

The room and the bed was a little crammed; but this is perhaps to expect from an affordable dorm. So I wouldn’t hold it against them.
The staff were generally warm and courteous. The bathroom and shower was nice. The location is also really nice and the price was affordable.

only stayed one night so couldn’t comment on the other facilities, i’m sure they were fine
amazing location, few minutes walk to two underground stops and right by hyde park! arrived early so stored my bag there for free, staff all very helpful and pleasant! comfy bed and clean room :)

The only window is that we can't open it properly. It can open only a bit as if you tried to open it wide, it keeps coming down again.

Bathroom could do with a bit of TLC.
Great location, walking distance to various underground stations and bus stop was very near. Room was clean and comfy, bathroom could do with some TLC, although it was clean and provided all that was necessary. good size room, nice area, very good and clean communal area with pub, and shop on doorstep and it's own bar downstairs. Breakfasts was simple, but worth the price for the location. Price was also very reasonable for the dates and location. I would definitely consider to stay here again.

Friendly, helpful staff and a great location, short walk to the tube station and easy to travel to other parts of London. Good high street with lots of food options and shops. Very close to Hyde Park.

The Kitchen are large enough to eat and take relaxation but sometimes a bit noisy due to TV and other guests.
Very good location to walk around London. The internet sipped is very fast and stable. And the staffs are very friendly. A kebab restaurant nearby is awesome.
