We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomAt first I didn’t like there was no tv then I changed my mind as it was nice to have a break from it tbh! Bit of space to think and unwind.
The lovely waterway outside is very peaceful. It has a spacious kitchen for making food and is nice and quiet. There was a desk in the room which you could use if you wanted a working holiday - just to get away for some peace and quiet. Good public transport networks and shops nearby.

CyprusLikes: The view from the window was absolutely incredible, the whole property is beautiful. It was so nice to wake up to birds chirping, ducks swimming in the pond and squirrels running around. The host was also very communicative, helpful, patient and sweet. Dislikes: The cleanliness is bad especially the bathroom. No toilet paper for 2 days and it was honestly disgusting. The wardrobe was half broken as well.

A decent room within 20 minutes' walking distance of my office is ideal for the two or three nights a month I need to be in London. It appears to have been a house share that was converted to accommodation, so think more student digs than hotel room, however, it's clean and tidy and you can't beat it on price for the area.

United KingdomThe bed was extremely uncomfortable and springs were poking out the mattress,I was left with itchy spots on my back, the room was very outdated and there was a strong smell of mould coming from the bathroom, the bathroom needs a deep clean and updating. I had to sleep with the sky window open due to the smell. A deep cleaning with new furniture a new bed at the very least.
The area is really beautiful and takes you away from the hustle and bustle, very calm and relaxing, the owner was lovely super helpful, polite and professional really took his time. The room was spacious and was ensuite, there was a kitchen avail for use. Parking was helpful too.

United KingdomObviously an old house share that was converted to a weird bedsit hotel type thing as councils implored strict HMO rules. Noticeable wear and tear on fittings. No actual reception or any staff on site to address issue.
Clean, comfortable, good value, and a great location for communing to Canary Wharf.

CroatiaMy only real (very minor) complaint with my stay would be the fact that I found the front door a bit sticky (hard to open at first), so maybe that could use some attention.
Ideal location for what needed, easy to commute to and from, good value stay. Very much a self catering style of stay but the Host Rob was very helpful, offering good communication when I needed to get in touch and ask a few questions.

Our host Rob met us with keys, showed my daughter and I around the house, our room was clean, with clean bedding and fresh towels, there was a shared kitchen with tea, coffee and milk available, free WiFi, showed us how the heating controls work, gave me a permit for my car that was parked at the back of the house in a safe place, he said he only lived 10 minutes so any problems just give him a call or message on WhatsApp and he would either come to the house or sort the problem if there was one, a very pleasant guy, polite and helpful with local knowledge of public transport, there is a nisa and a tesco express within walking distance and a morrisons local not to far by car, felt safe there ,quiet and secluded even though the business part of canary wharf was just round, easy transport to the O2

Welcoming and friendly. Great advice on travelling around London (especially as marathon was on so lots of roads closed), even said we could contact him for advice after gig finished if got stuck heading home - luckily we didn't need too. Good breakfast recommendation too. Room was big and comfy.

United KingdomAs it is a shared kitchen. There should be a notice to everyone to keep the dishes cleaned unfortunately I cleaned up all the dishes in the kitchen twice but someone made them dirty again. Also there should be a polite notice for the people to be mindful of other guests. It’s really horrible to having noises from upstairs when you are trying to relax. Lastly Thanks to the Host who who managed to do his best.
Host was really amazing. He helped me a lot to have a great time there. Everything was fine and lake view and the natural beauty of this place is just beyond description.

United StatesIt’s not kept well at all for it to be in a nice area like canary wharf. The bathroom door had speckles of mold on it that could have been stripped and painted easily or replaced. Really all in all you can see this person is just about making money to substitute income that is it and that is all!!! The conditions will more than likely get worser and worser. Also the house is very noisey and loud the ceilings are not proper for home rooms either looks like an office in one room. As well it Seems as if the owner cooks a lot of traditional dishes at anytime of the night with just no regards for the guest. Doors slam all night behind people. Someone had a dog as well in the room that barked at me when i would go use the restroom. Yea it’s unfortunate that this type of house is running in this type of area but England does allow some off the wall type situations to pose as businesses. If noise and heavy smells of food cooking at 11pm is your thing then enjoy this place for the small money

PolandThe only issue I saw was that the bathtub drained very slowly, so water stayed in it for a while but honestly that wasn’t an inconvenience for me.
Had a great stay! The host was incredibly helpful and even let me check in early which I really appreciated as it was some sort of an emergency for me with this stay. The room was spacious, clean and in a good, peaceful location with good access to everything I needed. I was only there for one night, but I loved it and would definitely stay again!

United KingdomI didn’t like: the lack of curtains in the room, when someone entered late at night, the light shone through the window, a broken shower cabin and a garden hose in the showerhead, a dirty bathroom rug and mold, slamming doors by people who lives in property(at night). Not recommend if travelling with girlfriend, coz mine was unhappy. Photos looks good but inside looks different. Maybe different rooms are better.
Good contact with the owner, the owner is friendly, helpful, and responds quickly to messages, big kitchen, friendly locators. On-site parking available, good location.

PortugalThere was no private bathroom. The shared bathroom was always not clean. The bedroom area is enough to create a small bathroom and would be a good improvement to the building. The shared bathroom can also be splited in 2 small ones. Shared bathrooms are a big problem, because owners can’ t control bad actitudes, non hygiene and non respect of people that rent their properties. To clean once a day is not enough with that kind of people. So, the only solution is to make a small private bathroom to the bedroom.
The building location was OK. The area of the room was good, even with poor furniture.
