Exceptional well equipped spacious property, very clean, full of natural light, and hosts John & Anne were exceptional. We booked this property as a base for attending our daughter's wedding, and the large kitchen and lounge were great for family entertaining. Every day, there were birds, rabbits, and pheasants in the garden to look at. The surrounding garden provided a great backdrop for taking family photos. The property is in a peaceful area yet close to local amenities and attractions.

A very spacious, clean and fantastic converted farmhouse with all the facilities you would want for a stay in this area. John and Anne were very welcoming hosts and interested to hear of the history of how the Farmhouse has evolved over the years. We would not hesitate to book this accommodation again if we returned to the area. Thank you John and Anne. !!!

Lovely location, right by the Tarka Trail you can even hire bikes at the end of the drive. We had a lovely time, lots of space, great kitchen and lovely outside court yard. The family were really friendly and helpful.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious barn conversion nestled near the picturesque Tarka Trail in Devon, and it was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the charm of the welcoming hosts and the beautifully renovated barn. The attention to detail in the design and decor was impeccable, seamlessly blending modern amenities with the rustic ambiance of the countryside setting. The interior was spacious, yet cozy, with comfortable furnishings and plush bedding that made everyone feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen with a large family-sized dining table was the perfect spot to enjoy priceless family time. The lounge was positioned with delightful views of the surrounding countryside, we playfully nicknamed the lounge area our "Zen Barn" due to the mesmerising effect while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding countryside, truly a place to simply chill and watch as nature weaves its magic. After a busy day attending a family wedding, returning to the barn felt like returning to our private luxury sanctuary. The hospitality of the hosts truly exceeded all of our expectations. They were warm, welcoming, and always available to recommend local attractions and dining options. Their passion for the area was contagious, making our short stay all the more memorable.

A very spacious, clean and well equipped property with everything you need for a comfortable stay for up to 8 or 9 people. It definitely exceeded our expectations. John was a welcoming and helpful host. Very quiet and peaceful location with lovely views of the countryside. Supermarket just a 3 minute drive away. Lots to do nearby, plenty of activities for kids and adults. We hired bikes and went north on the Tarka Trail which was a great day out. Would highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay.

Absolutely fabulous place. Spacious, underfloor heating throughout. Lovely big kitchen, wifi throughout, amazing views, great shower... there was absolutely nothing that we did not like. For cycle lovers, the Tarka trail is just next door and a cycle hire place.

Beautiful setting. The kitchen was well equipped and the underfloor heating was lovely! The property was exceptionally clean and John and Anne were very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely location right next to the Tarka trail. One min away from bike rental shop with a big selection of bikes. The house was warm, clean and had all the amenities needed for a few days away. John is committed to ensuring your stay is as comfortable as can be. He has also taken various steps to try and remove the cluster flies that a previous reviewer pointed out.

Lots of flys but was pre warned. Could do with some additional fly control. WiFi was intermittent in the bedrooms.

Spacious property with lots of character and under floor heating meant it was a great temperature. Location was great with lots of parking.
