The only thing I can say about the apartment is that it was really warm, and it took a long time to get to my desired temperature. I mean. The heat didn't escape, and it was a good building :D

The apartment was clean and warm when we got there; it made us feel like we were at home. Almost around the corner is located a Tesco, which is super convenient. The Old Town is just a 20-minute walk away, and it gives you the opportunity to see more small businesses around the tourist area.

This was the final stop on an eight week trip around Europe with my daughter. After sharing tiny hotel rooms, we were super surprised when Staycity upgraded us from a studio apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment! Such luxury to have so much space! Comfy beds, great kitchen with all the mod cons, big lounge & tv, Tescos round the corner, close to Haymarket station - it was perfect.

The pillows weren’t great but otherwise no complaints.

The apartments are in a good location, 10 minute walk from Haymarket station and a brisk 15 minute walk into the centre of Edinburgh. The communal areas are a little tired but the apartments are comfortable and well maintained. Really friendly and helpful staff and reception is manned 24 hours.

The strong air freshener scent in the apartment and stairwell . Door stops should be provided . The doors are heavy and won’t stay open unless propped. No usb type connections for charging phones .

We had the large two bedroom with separate living kitchen area . The front desk staff are fantastic . Solved a problem promptly. The apartment is spacious and comfortable . The beds are great . There are lots of outlets . Well equipped kitchen . Lovely large windows that open two ways . Easy to walk to old town ( about twenty minutes . We often walked back to make lunch or have a rest and head out exploring again. Grocery stores are close . 10 minute walk to haymarket train station . We caught a bus there for the airport . So easy !

The bathroom had a real strange issue with the tiling, which the staff immediately reported, but it meant we had a door that really had to be rammed home to open or shut, and you had to be careful of water on the floor as it was missing all the grouting for some reason.

The area was within walking distance to many parts of the city, and we had the possibility to make use of the kitchen. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Was quite peaceful generally. Beds were super comfy.

Location was great, not too far from the centre - about a 25 min walk. Bus stop is close by as well! Apartment was very clean and super spacious. Staff were really friendly. Smooth check in and check out. I would definitely recommend.

The curtains are difficult to open and close and a footstool would have been good when watching TV from the heavy chair that turns into a bed. Bad persistant smell in the fridge.

At first it seemed a bit soulless and quite a walk from Haymarket Station with a case, but it was due to diversions. The location was super and I felt really safe as a sole female. Maintenence guy from Poland was super helpful and efficient turning my heating down.Housekeeper also super sweet and helpful a blonde lady from Bulgaria. On arrival reception guy was very helpful too and marked on a map where to go and eat, and best music venues ect. Brilliant stay worth the money to have reception staff on call.

Very spacious accommodation. All the amenities of home, which made for a very relaxing stay. Great location, next to easily accessible public transportation and a number of bars/restaurants.

Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Also walking distance to the old and new towns. Very quiet neighbourhood. Tesco Express nearby for groceries. Walking distance to the Haymarket Station for easy transfer to the airport. The room was spacious with a separate living room and kitchen. Tons of space for 3 friends traveling together. Functional kitchen with a few complimentary coffee pods.

My only wish was for a small clothes dryer... though we did have a rack to hang wet clothes.

The apartment was clean and spacious. The location was great, walking distance for everything we wanted or needed within the city. We loved the balcony, full kitchen, and washing machine.

When you took a shower, much of the bathroom flooded and you had to clean up the water or walk in puddles every time you wanted to use the toilet.

Did not have breakfast. Suite was clean, comfortable, quiet. Bed was comfortable. Except the shower flooding the bathroom (see below) it was excellent!

Filthy old synthetic pad under the lvg room rug Not needed and gross. Throw it away! Bathroom door not properly hung. Rubs on floor and sticks A H&S issue. Fix! Chrome-cast streaming to TV in lvg room is crap Barely works. Most TVs now have Apple AirPlay built in, which works flawlessly. Activate AirPlay option on the TVs ! Some basic items missing in the kitchen — serving bowl, fruit tray, medium cup, dish brush. I bought them and "gifted" them to the unit. Outside hallway stairwell carpeting badly needs cleaning or replacement. Worse, the stairwell window is sealed shut. Chemical deodorants sprayed to mask mouldy odour. Instead of spraying noxious crap, unlock the window! Allow fresh air into stairwell !

Self contained unit with kitchenette, including dishwasher and clothes washer. Clean, fairly bright, quiet area, easy walk to centre-town, West End, GrassMarket, Old Town and most other cultural destinations.
