Quite noisy, don’t go here if you are looking for a quiet break, signage could be better in the hotel from the room to restaurant and bar. Menu for restaurant limited.

Maintenance was poor. Had to change rooms because shower was unusable and second room’s shower had no lever so was difficult to turn off. Paul was very willing to relocate us but preferred first room as it was quieter. Could have had more storage for clothes.

Picturesque setting, conveniently situated. Staff were very friendly and polite.

Super friendly staff and locals, lovely quirky little hotel with plenty of different seating areas inside and out. Great food at a reasonable cost. Nice, we’ll presented clean room. Perfect for dogs

Room was really clean but smell of cleaning products lingered in bathroom, a nice air freshener would easy fix this though. On one night there was a disco which was a bit noisy late into the night. But owners invited us go join in and did warn us but only on arrival. Would still recommend this as a good place to stay.

Very friendly owners who were always happy to help. Delicious breakfast with a good choice of hot and cold options. Good sized rooms, lovely old pub. Conveniently located. They are gradually refurbishing the rooms.

Our room had no where to hang anything, not even a hook behind the door!

The breakfast and evening meals were all good with generous portions and good flavour and excellent value. The setting was lovely and the outside area and inside dinning areas were all good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Near a main road so noisey if in either room on that side . Windows don't open wide so can get hot in room. Lack of any other amenities within walking distance of the inn. Had to drive everywhere . Still in process of redecorating and refurbishment of rooms so are bit basic but clean , towels, linen, bed all good.

Lovely location opposite river with boats moored . Ideal for easy drive to other places which you have to do as nothing else in walking distance. Nice breakfast, limited choice evening food. Staff all nice helpful friendly. Dogs very welcome also were happy to cook sausage for them.

Internet was a struggle to connect, 2nd day I managed to connect my tablet. No servicing of the room, not mentioned anywhere, so over flowing bin, we used a bag of our own. No time table for meal times in the room. Breakfast was inconsistent, the length of wait for the cooked order. The scrambled eggs one morning lovely next too dry. Dinner served from 5.30pm to 7.30 seemed early, a bit tight if you were out and about. I don't remember these issues on a previous stay.

Location is lovely, family room was very spacious not at all cramped, comfortable beds, good facilities in the room. We had a nice evening meal, over all nice food. We would stay again. This is our 2nd visit here in 2 yrs.

Lovely period building by the River Ant with access to the Broads. Outside areas for kids to play and large parking area and recreational space. Food good and lovely cozy bar with plenty of space .

The hotel is in a very quiet and nice location, the room was very clean and fresh and you can see that has been redecorated recently as everything looked new, the bed was super king size and very confortable. The breakfast (included in the price) was really good with a great selection of fresh products and a choice of cooked breakfast too including vegetarian options. Our dog was welcome too which was the main factor when looking for somewhere to stay.

Location was quite central for exploring the Broads. Friendly welcome on arrival and reserved a table for dinner there and then. The size of the room was one of the best on this stay in the UK. Plenty of room in the bedroom and bathroom too. The king bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Breakfast was plentiful and a good choice of both hot and cold dishes on the menu. Dinner at the restaurant was also very tasty with good portions sizes. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A great stay.

Limited breakfast and dinner menu. When we arrived we were given a very small room with only limited draw space and no where to hang any clothes. We Had to complain and the room was changed. New room was bigger with small half wardrobe. I Went into the bathroom, stood on a stone which made me check cleanliness of the room. I Wiped the floor with a wipe and cut myself on glass which was on the floor. The floor was filthy. My finger was gushing blood so I went down to reception, showed the lady the filthy wipe, the piece of glass and also my finger, she gave me a plaster And said she would speak to the manager, but he was cooking at the time. Took manager couple days to speak to me about the incident. He said it was his fault as he was changing light bulbs in there with dirty boots on which could have carried the stone and glass into the bathroom, but I had wiped the floor under the sink (where the shard of glass was) and the small gap between the toilet and wall, both areas were dirty, I doubt if he could have got his dirty boots in those areas. I also said there was only 1 glass in the room so the piece that cut me must have been a remnant of the second one, probably broken, he said the room was set up for 1 person so only 1 glass, I asked then why 2 cups? I was getting no where with him. He didn't offer to have the floor mopped, he just gave myself and my husband a free drink which I think was an insult This was our third stay at this hotel but doubt we will stay there again where the manager has a very unprofessional, uncaring attitude. .
