exceptionally well kept and lovely rooms. you can tell Andy cares about the guests by all the attention given to small details (like the breakfast ready for you in the fridge). it’s a very warm and cozy house. just wonderful!

The weather? !! Although even that wasn't too bad for the time of year,

There was a real range of options for breakfast, including freshly made fresh fruit salad, and fresh milk in the fridge (as opposed to the little cartons). Easily located place and on a popular route.

Nothing really and when I put this it’s not a complaint .when we got there our room was rather chilly but it was extra cold this weekend and we had been walking but I text Andy he sent a reply told me how to turn boiler up and there were thick blankets in a draw for extra warmth. But No heating in bathroom

It had a nice walk to staithes and to runswick bay which was what we came for,also Andy kept us well informed on our trip and I could email him anytime very helpful

Shower head was a bit wonky

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Host (Andy) was warm and wecoming. House was well set out with full access to the kitchen. My room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

We wanted to take the breakfast out with us but it was crumpets and orange juice in glass that had to be left in the kitchen. This is the only thing I would change and is a personal thing

Andy the owner was very friendly, warm and welcoming. Accommodation was great, spotlessly clean and cosy, felt like home from home. Breakfast bag was just what we needed before our walk from Runswick Bay. All in all had a great stay! Would defo recommend and return!

There is 100% nothing we didn't like.

We loved everything!! Andy was so warm, friendly and welcoming! The guest house is immaculate and the beautiful decor is amazing, so many thoughtful touches like a little note wishing us a great stay....nibbles and drinks and the delicious breakfast that was prepared! We spent new years eve there and it really made our night away so much more special...

The parking is on the road outside, but every time I have visited it has not been a problem. So really nothing else that I did not like. I love coming here.

The breakfast pre-packaged with your name on , made by Andy the host, is just amazing. Everything you would ever want and a bit more. Andy is a super host and goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as he possibly can. The decor is unique and quirky, just like Andy. Anyway, the room was very comfortable and you had a sense of being at home there. Loved it there and wanted to stay longer. You can make your own meals in the kitchen, which is spotless. There are places around to get meals etc if you don't wish to cook as well. Very well run and clean. So many little touches here to make you feel a bit special.

Everything! the small touches , snacks and water on a tray with a lovely welcome note, toiletries, spotlessly clean ! nothing was too much trouble. It felt like home from home. would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

absolutely beautiful room, so comfortable and clean, with all the things we needed as well as lots of fabulous extras. and having a kitchen at our disposal was brilliant. Our host Andy was super friendly too, great communication.

Absolutely nothing to complain about

The host was welcoming without being intrusive. The room was clean with a few treats left out for us on arrival. There were plenty of teas/coffees in the room and the bagged breakfast was a welcome change to others that offer a poor attempt at a breakfast. Walking distance for both Runswick Bay and Staithes is a bonus. A great little place and will definitely be looking to book again.
