There was nothing not to like

The Barn is impeccable in terms of quality, style and comfort whilst retaining its unique and original features. Me and my 14 year old daughter arrived after a very long drive from Manchester and were absolutely delighted as we drove towards the property. First impressions were amazing as we were met by Helen and provided with a tour, tea and local toasted cake, then options for dinner that evening. Our room was beautiful and extremely spacious with top quality tasteful decor and perfectly clean top quality bedding. Then, the breakfast(s). Omg! This for me was the highlight. John cooks up Mitchelin star quality English breakfasts, made with high quality local produce and delivered by Helen who is utterly charming without fail. The little extra touches with fresh eggs and herbs from the farm take this to a whole new level. As we stayed for a week, we were also offered alternative options of smoked salmon and avocado on toast and pancakes - which my daughter loved! We had the most wonderful holiday and The Barn for us was perfect. Helen and John made lots of suggestions for exciting places we could explore which ensured we made the most of every single day in Cornwall. We fell in love with Bude and Padstow and we even called into Clovelly on our way home!!

Nothing everything was Amazing!!!!

John & Helen are fantastic host's, from the moment we booked receiving load's of information from Helen about the surrounding Pub's, Restaurant's and Attractions that might interest us. John & Helen made a fantastic breakfast probably the best we have ever had when travelling and nothing was too much trouble, we had such a relaxing enjoyable stay, in a fantastic room within the amazing barn, that we will be booking again very soon. We have already recommended to our friends and family.

Amazing breakfast with fresh products, adjusted to our needs and dietary restrictions. The Barn is spacious, well-designed and cosy. Our room was comfy, clean and quiet with a beautiful view of a flock of sheep, a garden and a green area. Big bathroom with both a walk-in shower and bathtub. The Hosts were very friendly and gave us some helpful advice. Despite having their duties, they also had time to tell us interesting facts about their farm, renovation project they did, living in Cornwall, history and traveling. The animals there were lovely and sociable! We would love to come back.

Was not used to driving country roads but after a few miles, we got the hang of it and the farm was well sign posted.

Excellent breakfast and wonderful array of options to suit all. Location was easy to find as host reached out prior to our stay and provided directions and recommendations for dining nearby. Helen and John are super friendly hosts as are their friendly farm animals. They also offered to give us a tour of the farm which was one of the highlights of our stay! Will definitely go back again next time in Cornwall.

Fabulous setting in the heart of the countryside. So quiet and peaceful. Amazing property with lots of space in all the rooms. Breakfast was the best and cooked to perfection by host John. Helen made us very welcome and nothing was any trouble for them 10/10

Exceptionally well converted barn, comfortable super king bed, luxury en-suite. Breakfast was fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals followed by cooked breakfast and toast. Consistently well prepared/cooked and very tasty. Helen and John were excellent hosts.

Fantastic breakfasts, enough to keep us going well into the afternoon. A beautiful, peaceful location on a working farm. The room was a good size with a huge bathroom, and Helen & John were great and really made us feel at home.

The room was superb - very comfortable, very clean with a lovely bathroom. The lounge and dining area are exceptional. Breakfast was first class. The barn is in a peaceful, rural setting which we loved. Helen and John were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful.

Stunning location, beautiful accommodation which was sparkling clean and contained lots of lovely little extras. The hosts were extremely accommodating, friendly and very welcoming. Communication upon arrival showed attetnion to detail to make our stay so special. Breakfast was absolutely lovely, again reflecting a very high level of attention to detail. The room contained a gorgeous bathroom, huge comfy bed and coffee/tea facilities. Exceeded my expectations and by far my favorite stay from booking.com. I cant wait to go back!
