Small double was exactly that ok for our 2 night stay but would go bigger next time. Toilet flush not good had play about with it to get a full flush. Cold plates for hot breakfast, not good.

Lovely swimming pool and spa facilities. Great location, within walking distance from city centre. Good parking. Great breakfast.

Room 31 - really should NOT be used, at the side of the bed (outside wall) there is a very large extractor vent - pipe work, ridiculous that this massive pipe 2ft diameter is attached to a room wall. I didn't sleep, lucky if I had 2 hours sleep! I complained in the morning and they said if I'd called them they would have moved me - 1/2am in the morning... The manager confirmed he knew it was an issue - I mentioned that if that is the case it should NOT be used, it's very small and noisy. In fairness they offered my the price of breakfast back x 2 - they said to refund me would take a long time as it's through Booking.com, have to say I was not too impressed with that excuse. On the whole all the staff were friendly - we had a lovely breakfast.

The swimming pool - jacuzzi, were great, we used the facilities before heading to Nottingham Indoor Bowls - EIBA Finals. Rooms were good, my room 31, was quite small - but served it's purpose until I had to try and sleep!

Comfortable and calm hotel. The added gym and spa facilities makes it a great spot to relax. Very Good value for money in this hotel. Breakfast was also nice. Would only need nice coffee to top up the offering.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, and the room was clean. There was a desk where I could work, which was really helpful with sockets everywhere, which was convenient. Ample wardrobe space, too. The spa facilities were amazing with a large, well equipped gym, and we loved the jacuzzi and pool, too. We did bump our heads on the sloping ceiling in our room a few times and felt that the breakfast did not look very appealing, could have had a better selection for continental breakfast making the £15 cost better value for money.

The room was very hot. I had the window open all the time but it didn't cool down. The window only opened on to a small enclosed space.

Everything in the hotel looked super nice except the rooms that could do with some updating! As would the dining room

The traffic on the main road was very noisy at the front of the building. Sunday morning wasn’t too bad but on Monday it started at 5am and it was impossible to sleep!

After football the bar was shut when we got.back and the was no local shops still open without walking 15 mins... keep the bar open until 12am please

I was in Room 18: the noises from next door were very audible (creaking bed, phone call) so I think that soundproofing could definitely be improved. However, I should add that this did not affect my night's sleep, which was excellent.

A good welcome, a very pleasant bar and a comfortable room. Very good breakfast.
