We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomDid not have a choice of room for the full stay of three nights, so we were in a ground floor room facing the near pub/restaurant “The Bowman”, and unfortunately on the Saturday night the rowdy guests in the room above made excessive noise until 3 in the morning. They probably didn’t realise the severity of this as insulation of the rooms and above ceiling is very poor. Reception was later made aware of this but there was little they could do except apologise. On arrival, our room had not been adequately serviced. Only set up for single occupancy and one dirty bath towel had been left in the bathroom. Staff however quickly rectified the problems. In future we will try and specify an upstairs room facing away from the restaurant. Very poor phone signal and rather weak internet. No A/C so be aware in summer months.
Have stayed here many times. The hotel is unique ,dated and limited, but it is small and friendly. Very convenient for visiting family locally. Plenty of parking. Very comfortable bed and a really good shower . Did not eat here this time so cannot comment. We love to stay here, at this ex Premier Inn ,so you know exactly what to expect. Always have found the staff to friendly and professional.
