Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lady was very helpful on arrival, telling us about good, dog friendly places to eat and giving advice on parking. The room was spotlessly clean and had a nice view of the sea. We only stayed for 2 nights so didn't really see anyone else after that but that wasn't a problem as we could come and go as we pleased.

Curtains could have been thicker, they let quite a lot of light in.

Parking was difficult at times but that wasn't the hotels fault. That was just Mumbles and the current roadworks on the seafront.

Not having staff on reception. Central heating on low in winter. No breakfast offered to us, and not signpost to best cafes for breakfast.
Clean room, nicely decorated. Seaview. Comfortable bed. Really good location. Good price for area.

dog friendly, £10 paid great shower - hot water sea view very quiet great towels clean tea, coffee and milk - well stocked
no breakfast option - this is not clear on booking.com expensive - as there was no breakfast included had to ask for the heating to be turned on (november) which was actioned bed - matress needs replacing

We didn't realise the sea wall is currently under major re-construction, everything was very dusty and the front was closed off with railings and cluttered with heavy machinery. The long stay car park was closed, being used for construction works storage, this made parking a nightmare! I will certainly do more research before I book anywhere in future
Room was very clean and location was central, within easy distance of shops, pubs and restaurants. The local pubs and restaurants staff were friendly, lovely breakfast at Trams Cafe.

Can't really say, I know what I paid for and got what I expected ! All positive from my side - if your expecting a quite, boutique hotel then this isn't for you. A decent, clean, friendly hotel right next to the sea, then this will tick all your boxes.
Welcomed a little early, but welcomed in no problem. Location next to the sea, always a positive where ever you are in the world :-) Facilities we're as expected, there's a welcoming pub downstairs and the stairs up to the room easy to access, we had our old dog with us, so welcomed the stairs not being so high up. Room clean, great view had everything we needed for the short overnight stay.

Could hear people walking around on creaky floors and using the toilet in the night. Saying that, I was right above the hotel bar and there was no noise from there.

A bit dated in parts but in no way detracted from our break. I would happily book again. PS could do with some extra hooks in the room - a minor detail but helps for hanging up towels when damp!!
The location was perfect. We barely needed to use the car as everything was within walking distance. Very doggy friendly as were all the restaurants and many of the shops in the area. Bed was comfortable- bedding was crisp and clean..room was spotless and a good size for us.

Sea front a lot of construction going on. Therefore could not enjoy going to beach. Parking is difficult.

It could be quite noisy, you could hear downstairs and footsteps upstairs but it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. The tv was very small and very high, no plus sockets near a mirror should you want to style your hair.
The staff were lovely, the room was large and clean, nice bathroom, the location is great.

No meals included in price and weren't available anyway. 10% off breakfast at local cafe recommended by hotel. Room cleaned and refreshed daily.
