The hosts Julia & Jamie were excellent hosts & made us feel very welcome all the staff were very helpful. The room was lovely beds very comfortable.

Great to have on-site parking - we were greeted by very friendly hosts who informed us of the history of the area, the best restaurants for dinner etc and places to visit - room extremely clean and tidy, had a welcome chocolate on the pillow, fresh biscuits each day with the tea/coffee tray - room also cleaned and tidied daily - hot breakfast was ordered the night before, and everything else (cereals/yoghurts/pastries/juices etc) self-serve in the morning - fresh toast and tea/coffee brought to your table - we had the last remaining room in the hotel due to last minute booking described as the Compact Room - it fitted the description - but we thought it was roomy enough for us, the ensuite had a walk-in shower, and there was enough storage space - they have made good use of the space. As it was on the ground floor next to the front door we had quick and easy access to the car park and streets that led down the to town/beach - overall, despite the bad weather, we had a wonderful stay at The Cimon.

The hotel had a really comfortable and friendly feel. The owners, Julia and Jamie, were perfect hosts offering advice and local knowledge, which was really helpful and enhanced our experience of Torquay and its surroundings. Very clean room and communal areas, excellent breakfast choices too. We absolutely loved our week at the Cimon and would 100% recommend.

Good location with on site car park. All the facilities needed for our stay at this very friendly family run hotel. An excellent breakfast with times to accommodate various needs during the stay, with a variety of served hot main courses. Walking distance of the town in a quiet area. Also in case of bad weather plenty of games inside and in case of good weather a heated outdoor pool and seating area. It was spot on

Julia and Jamie were absolutely amazing, couldn't do enough for us. the pool, patio and bar area was exceptional and very reasonabley priced. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very modern and the shower was very cool. Breakfast was delicious and the choice was fantastic. They even had amazing mocktails as i couldn't drink this time around. We will definately be back.

Everything was perfect from start to finish, Jamie & Julia went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Always welcoming and friendly also accommodating, we will definitely be coming back to stay here. It felt like a home away from home :)

We thought the bathroom was a bit small and we would have liked water in the room The breakfast was delicious but the cooked breakfast was served too quickly after the first course .

There was ample parking and the bed was very comfortable The pool area was lovely as was our balcony Julie and James and her team could not have been more friendly and helpful The breakfast was tasty

The only thing - and this is very very small - it would have been nice to have the option of white or brown bread at breakfast, but didn’t really matter.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the pool area was lovely, the location was great (5 mins walk to the front). Our room was the smallest one (I knew this when we booked) but very comfy - I’ve been struggling to sleep for about a month but I had 3 nights of solid sleep at the Cimon!

What a great hotel! We had the lovely balcony room. Spotless, bed was soooo comfy, breakfast was delicious and the staff were so friendly. Lovely to sit by the pool, and fantastic bonus of parking.
