We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomMy elderly dad has a wheelchair and the disabled access to the restaurant was a very long way away, if my husband hadn't been with us we could never have made it to eat! It's a very steep runway and very rough ground.
The staff at reception were very helpful as we had my elderly dad with us, and check in was quick and that really helped because we had driven for three hours and were tired.

The breakfast choice was excellent. Dinner was likewise very good. The bathroom, which was spotlessly clean, had plenty of space for toiletries etc. and the shower and bath were very good.

We've stayed here 4 or 5 times now, always comfortable, conveniently located for a break on our journey to Cornwall and good value. Staff friendly and helpful. Good motel style en-suite rooms with easy parking right outside. Very good beds and we had a bath in our room too. Dining is in the pub (which is part of the hotel) across the lane. Good fish and chips.

FranceBathroom needs a good deep clean. Mouldy black stuff round the bath handles and shower fittings, thick dust inside the bathroom cabinet and on the towel rail. Toilet fittings grubby. TV would be better fixed to the wall.
Convenient for the city and visiting family. Good parking, nice bedding and towels and a quiet room at the back so we slept well. Good breakfast options. Nice big telly!

Comfortable beds. Windows that had views onto a pleasant area and that you could open for fresh air, as the room was a little too warm when we arrived. Curtains that were blackout so the early morning light didn't intrude.

United KingdomI had to negotiate for an extra slice of bread to accompany our sharing plate after initially being told it would cost £3. The issue was resolved but should never have arisen. The dish was excellent with generous portions but not enough bread to accompany dips, hummus and mozzarella. We saw three people sharing also with four half slices of bread ! Duh.
Very good shower, plenty of parking and close to Park and Ride.
