The premises could do with some maintenance. Other than that nothing.

Very convenient for Chatsworth house. Nice small hotel with lovely staff and 2 complimentary bottles of beer in the room which was a nice surprise

What a gem! Found this place purely by chance. 2 small rooms but homely and comfortable. We didn’t eat in the evening but breakfast was excellent! Great for Chatsworth too.

King room was lovely The staff was friendly and brilliant Lisa the manager knew we had a difficult journey getting to our reservation on time but when we did get there she made our day alot better and relaxed us after a nightmare trip.

it’s an old building and not well insulated. You hear when next door neighbour watches TV and flushes the toilet.

The staff is the most friendly I have ever met and very helpful. They helped us getting our room earlier in order for us to get settled before a wedding we had to attend in the village. There is a very good atmosphere at the place. You notice that the staff likes their job and working together.

I could hear everything from my room - I could hear people talking etc.

I loved the behavior of all staff (reception, restaurant), they were very posituve and super helpful. The food in restaurant was great. The room was spacious and clean.

Not keen on plastic plants and the music in the bar at lunchtime was too loud, but those are very minor points-we had a great stay.

Lovely building, friendly staff, very clean, thoughtful touches like filter coffee and a fan. Restaurant meal was superb! Fantastic location-short walk to Chatsworth.

The room needed a good luck of paint and was a little small for our dog. It was clean and comfortable on the whole.

The staff were really nice and welcoming. They gave me all the information I needed to know and even upgraded our rooms for nothing! The breakfast was nice with a good options to choose from. The room was homely and comfy.

Bed was a bit hard for my liking and room was quite hot. Persistent noise from a fan or boiler made it hard to get to sleep.

The room was not stuffy which is a good bonus as a lot of hotels are Staff were friendly but not over friendly and the restaurant was nice and spacious I loved the little tea cups very English which I love 💕
