Sea view is stunning. Decor throughout hotel is really lovely. It is very family friendly and I wondered if this would be a problem as I was travelling alone - but this was not a problem at all. Its in a fantastic location.

Noisy - this is a family hotel, so some noise is to be expected. However there was a live band performing in the hotel bar in the evening which sounded like they were directly under my room and were very noisy. The mattress was lumpy and not very comfortable.

The location is lovely. The breakfast was good. Nice selection of teas, biscuits etc in the room. Helpful check-in staff who helped with parking for my van (note to van owners - you can't park vans on the road overnight).

Possibly a bigger choice on evening menu, the food we had was v good, but if eating in the hotel everyday the choice would be repeated.

Loved the location and the sea view room, staff were all v friendly and knowlegeable about local places.

There was no air con in our room.

The facilities were great and the view of Fistral beach was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

What I didn't like were the pillows and beds. The pillows were catastrophically uncomfortable and needed to be changed urgently. The beds were uncomfortable. Maybe some people like to sleep on hard beds, but not me. We were with 2 small children and they gave us a bunk bed. My children had never slept on one and it was a problem for us because we didn't know how to fit them in and who would lie where. We had to put our daughter on top and worry all night that she wouldn't fall out. If you come for one or two nights, you won't feel it, but we came for 5 nights and it was very painful.

I liked a lot of things. 1) the location of the hotel and the beauty around it. 2) the staff is very polite. 3) there is a children's corner with different children's games, the playground is a big plus. 4) sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool. 5) there is a laundry, washing machine and dryer, plus an ironing board and iron, and all this is free. 6) in the evening you can relax on the first floor with a view of the sea, it's wonderful. 7) every day there are different entertainments for children. 8) for the pool they give robes and slippers.

Lift was out of order. Family hotel so lots of noisy children running thru the corridors & common areas. Noisy doors slamming everywhere. Our bathroom was very small.

Great location on the beach, comfortable bed, clean room, good breakfast room. We especially loved and appreciated the free guest laundry, including detergent (one machine, one dryer). Thank you.

Our room was really hot, even with the radiators off we had to use the fan all night it was 8° outside so not sure why it was so hot. The mini fridge in the room didn't work, so our picnic food got spoilt. The food in the restaurant was expensive but potion sizes were good

My 6 year old absolutely loved the hotel, the soft play area next to the restaurant is such a great idea. He loved the pool and the cinema room too. Fantastic hotel to stay with children

The hotel is very clean. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a superior sea view dog friendly room and it was excellent.

Check in and out was a little slow, but understandable for the time of year, the lady who checked us In and out was very nice, but could do with an extra pair of hands. Felt the price was high for a room facing the tennis court a little noisy when we were in our room.

Located in great location, good & clean facilities, friendly staffs. Our shower didn’t work and were immediately given access to room next door until it was fixed later in the day. On street parking was no problem.

Not really, it’s great! I guess if anything, The pool- it is quite small and can get loud and busy…an outdoor pool would be exceptional!

It couldn’t be closer to the beach! Fantastic! There’s so much thought for the children, the activities they put on, the pool tables, the beach library, milk and biscuits before bed! The Cove restaurant food was lovely though the acoustics are not pleasant for dining with the play area being so close. Sea view room is totally worth getting, just beautiful views! Some staff were particularly impressive and nothing was too much effort. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I loved how child friendly the venue was, particularly the little touches such as free milk and cookies for the children before bed, the board games and beach toys you could borrow and return. It was delightful and perfect for us.
