Bed was very uncomfortable and the room was too hot with no air con. Fan was available but did not make much difference and was noisy. Was not overly hot days but room was very hot.

We opted for a sea view room and it was the best decision ever. Waking up to the sea was beautiful and the sound of the waves were soothing. It is a very family orientated hotel and we were made to feel right at home.

Staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate us- drinks delivered to our table, food served in the lobby to accommodate us with our dog Millie. A great team of staff and a fab location. The facilities are great- we didn’t have kids with us but there’s so much on offer for all guests. Really nice touch with the dog treats in the bedroom- thank you.

Have never stayed in a better family hotel, still had the luxuries you want but my sons new fave place . The small touches like a child’s robe and hot chocolate I. Room made him Feel so special

Parking was tricky but always managed to find a space on the road or near by.

Location. Rooms are spacious and light. Activities choices and things to do at the hotel on a rainy day or evening or during breakfast to keep kids busy! Interior design. Tea/coffee/biscuits selection in the room were wonderful too! Friendly staff.

Day before arrival informed via email that on arrival we would have to pay an extra deposit of £50 per night per room in case we buy anything over the stay eg drinks also in case we damage anything in the hotel, and was told this is normal practice with hotels in Cornwall which I disagreed with. This also wasn't highlighted on booking.com. The Hotel website you have to find it in right at the bottom of the page in terms and conditions. Also was expecting evening Entertainment which is listed on booking.com there was not any in the week only weekends was told. We would not of booked this hotel for this reason so false advertising on booking.com. may not use booking.com again because of this. We had my 87 year old mother with us, because of no entertainment in hotel we were stuck there as once the car was moved limited parking available in hotel and surrounding area.Not able to walk to town as too hilly and a long walk. On going to bed other people's doors are slammed due to door locks. Hotel need to have a sign up on inside of the door saying can people close them quietly. Or sort doors out so fire doors close more quietly. We were woken up through the night several times because of this. Very poor amenities in local area. Lovely things for children in hotel but when people are having breakfast of dinner play area next to dining room should have doors on or not used during meal times. Very noisy and not everyone wants children running around while eating. Breakfast has a good selection, but full English breakfast very small for what there charging. Expensive for the amount they give .

It was so welcoming and staff were amazing. It was really like a holiday resort. Really nice hotel. The view was breathtaking and parking was always available. Love my view of surfing while relaxing with a drink.

The faucets which were separate hot and cold we’re not pleasant at all. The hot one was extremely hot and provided scalding hot water very quickly which you could easily get burnt by also the rooms could do with air-conditioning as it was quite warm and we had to have the fan on

Fantastic location. So much for the children to do.Play area in the dining room is genius. Fabulous cocktail bar. Kids were all entertained which made it so relaxing for us adults.

Staff seemed untrained, not very enthusiastic and a bit chaotic. Only the receptionist was anything like professional! Rooms a bit old fashioned and tired for a hotel commanding these prices!
