Wonderful friendly service Chris made an effort to speak with every guest and offered informed advice. Great breakfast. The room was perfect with a comfortable bed and modern fittings.. Lovely touch with the self service bar in the well decorated lounge looking over the sea. Plenty of parking even an electric vehicle charger.

The stairs on top floor no lift 42 steps up 42 down my will have to watch this next time go for a lower floor .

The property was very nice clean and very comfortable .The breakfast was great everything you can eat and served to you by Chris. slept very well. Very friendly

Everything! We couldn't fault a thing- from the warm welcome we received from the hosts, the delicious breakfasts, the inviting hotel room, the honesty bar, the cleanliness of the hotel as well as the fact we were in a delightful area with free parking with regular trams to take us to most destinations. A win win all round and will visit again! 10/10 Thank you, Chris & Christine

We had a lovely stay, we were kindly upgraded to the four poster bed & I would not hesitate to book this room when we go back. The room was extremely comfortable with plenty of space, nice to have the toilet & shower separate. Breakfast was cooked to perfection & was delicious. The location is fantastic with walking distance to Ma Kelly's showboat & a stones throw to the tram stop. The open bar was a great touch as well.

the location of the property was fantastic, very peaceful but with such great views, the hotel is well run by the owners who look after their guests in every way possible, I will definitely be staying here again, the hospitality is 10 out of 10, the breakfast is on another level and this is without a doubt the best I’ve stayed in Blackpool over the years, our room was a very good size and a lot of effort has been put into this place by the owners, it’s made our weekend complete. thankyou for a lovely place to stay.

Perfect no problems whatsoever.

Breakfast was superb could make up your own selection (cooked to order). Cleanliness all aspects of hotel spotless. Room perfect view, comfortable, relaxing, refreshments ie water, tea, coffee etc., always available. Our hosts Chris and Christine very friendly and welcoming, always available if required.

Absolutely fell on my feet here. Exceptional hotel, vegan food on request that was lovely, vegan biccies and soya milk in my room.. Owners were so friendly and helpful. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again should I come to Blackpool.

It was a lovely surprise as I was not sure what to expect. Chris met me warmly and took me to my room. Explained where I could go for dinner and asked what time I would like breakfast. Both mornings he was there with a smile and excellent service. I will definitely stay there again

Having to leave ha ha.

Chris and Christine could not do enough for us. Although Christine was pretty much behind the scenes, she was lovely and a great cook. Chris was extremely: helpful, amenable and calm. The Fossil Tree really is a 'calm place to stay'. The breakfasts were fantastic! Lots of choice and extremely well cooked and plentiful. The rooms were well-equipped, clean and extremely comfortable.
