Perfect location, plenty of room, beautiful views literally on your doorstep. Carolynn the owner, was so helpful & obliging & made us feel so welcome. Couldn’t have asked for more, Will definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable accommodation, excellent facilities, good location. Host, Carolynn, was very friendly and helpful but not in any way intrusive.

Quiet, clean, comfortable, lots of space and only a short 20 minute walk in to town. Sadly that view is the front of the house but the owners allowed us to use their patio and garden so we very much enjoyed the view. Owners were so friendly and helpful.

Nothing I didnt like.

Quiet and convenient location - close to town. Great social space with open kitchen and dining/ living room yet still feels cosy. Lovely host who is on hand if needs be.

Very small thing could do with a small chopping knife in the kitchen and maybe a cafetière. Carolyn very kindly offered to lend us hers….

Loved the way the kitchen diner living room flow into each other - makes for a very sociable holiday. Carolyn and John are lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was really clean. Loved playing football (positively encouraged) on the massive front lawn overlooking Rothesay Bay and especially with Isla the dog who needs a call up for Scotland.

House was easy to find. Lovely and cosy, well equipped and the hosts contacted us prior to us getting there with easy directions. Wouldn't hesitate in coming again. Little extras like milk ,tea,coffee and nibbles make all the difference.

Nothing, wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Everything. The location was perfect, right across from the water, and within walking distance to Rothesay. The house itself is roomy and has everything you could want. The grounds are spacious and Carolynn and John encourage you to play on the front lawn with the various garden games they provide in the shed next to the house. They are very kind and provide little touches such as milk and biscuits, shampoo and conditioner and even disposable barbecues.

Great location, good spacious accomodation. we went as a family of 8 and there was more than enough space. The host is lovely and left us some Tunnocks biscuits and milk as a welcome.

The website, business cards etc show the wonderful view from the front but the accommodation is round the back and the kitchen overlooks scaffolding, ladders, bricks etc( probably why the blind is half down. Bedrooms overlooking more scaffolding, roofs etc. We stay on Bute every year and it's our first accommodation without glorious views.

The host Carolynne was so friendly and welcoming. We felt totally at home. Very comfortable and relaxed. Carolynne went above and beyond to help us. it was a great a great base. Sea was close and it was close to Rothesay town centre.
