We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaNothing to be honest. Actually to nitpick the avo toast for breakfast was supposed to be sourdough but it was cheap white bread - they must have run out but would have appreciated being told that as i would have changed my order.
Room is impeccably detailed - beautiful fittings, quality furnishings - so many small touches to feel just SO well cared for. I travel all over the world most of the year and I haven't felt so at home as here. Shower is incredible and breakfast served with extra love and care - you can absolutely tell the team works well together.

We had a studio with a lovely slipper bath in the bedroom, staff very friendly and food was fantastic, Nespresso machine a bonus and complimentary sloe gin, fresh milk provided and nice toiletries

United KingdomDinner menu rather fussy and complicated, some "simple food done well" would be a welcome addition. A delivery to the premises at 3am was not welcomed, no matter how quietly they attempted to complete this.
Good room, very clean and tidy, well appointed. Staff excellent - all of them! Premises recently refurbished and extended, very pleasant environment and atmosphere. Car parking easy and convenient. Very good menu options available for Coeliac guests. Breakfast very good.
