We put the sign up for do not disturb but our room was cleaned over after the first night anyway. Needed to be clearer on parking before turning up. Was unaware of the disc for parking so paid for 3 days in the carpark opposite.

The room was amazing. Facilities excellent. Great value for money and location was excellent.

Some water in the room would have been nice.

Perfect, centrally located between the lake and the town. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Good sized modern bathroom with an excellent shower. Although breakfast not included, plenty of local choices for breakfast/brunch. There is also a fridge in the room.

Room a bit smaller than we expected but maximized well, and contained everything we could need.

Communication/Location/ spotlessly clean/ plenty of tea and coffee & towels. File with recommendations for eating drinking and activity. Bus stop right outside for traveling to the likes of Keswick and Bowness £3 per trip. Great breakfast at garden centre next door, and 5 min walking to pier or into ambleside. Managed to park outside. Lovely quiet room number 33 looking out the back. HUGE super comfy bed with crisp white bedding, luxury. Big shower too. Plenty of clever hanging ideas, shelves and drawer space , shelf under sink and extra heater if needed, we certainly didn't.

We had a lovely stay in the Log House, and will definitely be returning. It’s in a great location, and the owners were very accommodating to us. The room was pretty luxurious if a little cosy, and the bed was incredible, I fell asleep very quickly almost every night, and slept like a log.

A quick trip up to Ambleside for a climb so just needed a bed for the night . Excellent value this place !!! Clean , modern and an amazing view !!! The best bed I’ve ever slept in , soooo comfortable.

Very small issue but is hearing other guests upstairs most hours of the morning but I know this isn’t something which can be helped.

Such a beautiful room in a gorgeous location. The room was decorated to a beautiful standard, the photos of the property did the place justice. The bed was soo comfy I could have stayed there forever! Very little walking distance into the little town down the road which was ideal.

What a hidden gem! So convenient for all that Ambleside has to offer. Great choice for the bus from Lancaster as it stops right outside. Room had everything we needed and bed was so comfortable we want to buy one for our home! Lovely accommodation.

Breakfast isn’t supplied but tea/coffee milk and biscuits were. The cleanliness was exceptional. The bed is lovely and comfy. It is very central easy to walk into centre say 5mins and we’re not quick walkers.

It only has two parking spaces which were full for the time we were there, so we had to pay for parking. The batteries had run out in the to remote so we couldn’t watch anything else but the first thing we switched on (understand this can happen from time to time but we arrived late afternoon and it would have been nice to have spares)

The location to Ambleside was good, the room was easy to access and the bed was amazing! The freestanding bath was also really fab

We experienced some noise from the room above. A light above the sink would be good. The wardrobe is difficult to hang clothes in across the unit, the hangers are too big. Why not have hooks so the clothes could be hung flat.

There was a strong sewage smell in the entryway. The TV was meant to be set up so we could sign into our own streaming services however someone elses were signed in so couldnt really watch what we wanted.

The room was beautiful with an amazing mountain view. The bed was huge and so comfortable so I had a brilliant nights sleep. Will definitely be returning!

The log house was amazing. Clean comfortable and in a central location. The room had everything I needed and the roll top bath and power shower were added bonuses 😊
